»»———— THE SECOND TASK————««

When Val awoke, she instantly reminisced over the things that had transpired the night before. She felt good about it. She was glad it had finally happened, and that she had opened up to Draco. She couldn't help but still be a little hesitant and cautious, but that was to be expected. She was sure he would be patient with her knowing everything she feels. She just needed to get more used to him, and that was fine.

She turned over to look at Loltia's bed. She still wasn't there. She decided to get up and take a shower, freshening up as she felt awful after last night. She noticed Draco had hung her dress up for her so that it wouldn't get wrinkled and ruined. She smiled for a moment before going into the bathroom and bathing. The warmth of the water felt amazing on her skin. A shower always made her feel better after nights like those, but she couldn't wait to drink whatever that concoction was so she would instantly feel herself again.

She fixed her hair, then brushed her teeth quickly and washed her face. She put on some mascara and lipgloss before changing into a simple, white turtleneck tucked in a tight, short black skirt. She pulled on some knee-high boots before walking out of her room. The sound of lots of people talking filled her ears. The first thing she did when she stepped out of the hall was go over to the table where the Head Boy and Head Girl were passing out the potions. She gladly took one, thanking them with a kind smile. She downed it before throwing the cup away. She felt a million times better. She looked over to see her friends sitting in the corner in their usual spot. She made her way over to them, and they all smiled upon seeing her. "Looks like someone finally decided to get up."

Blaise was sitting on the sofa, leaned back like he always was. Crabbe and Goyle sat on the other side of him. Pansy was sitting on the floor, leaned against the armchair Theodore sat in, with Lolita in his lap. Marcus sat at the table, always eating from the bowl of candies that magically refilled all the time. Draco had his own armchair. This was how they always sat usually. Lolita and her used to sit on the floor before, but things were different now. "Good morning."

"You look excessively joyous." Lolita smirked at her, knowing she'd snuck off with Draco last night. Both of their faces turned red. He stood up, walking over to her.

"Hey," He muttered, unsure as to whether or not she'd changed her mind like usual.

"Hey," She grinned at him, not being able to resist it. She definitely hadn't. He cupped her face in his hand as he kissed her passionately.

"Come on, get a room!" Goyle yelled, throwing a wadded piece of parchment at the two of them. They pulled away and chuckled for a moment. They both just felt good that they could finally do that. Pansy just got up and walked away angrily.

"You can have my seat." Draco offered, and Val shook her head.

"That's fine."

"No, I insist."
