Chapter 4

(Katie's POV)

"Don't you dare fucking touch me with that!" Madison shouts sitting beside me as Shawn threatens to touch her with a dead bug, Matthew climbs next to me and starts tickling me out of no where.

"STOP MATTHEW!" I shout at him as he tickles me, he laughs and keeps tickling me, Cameron walks in and rolls his eyes.

"Hey, keep it pg and get off my sister." He demands to Matthew, Matthew puts his hands up in surrender and gets off of me.

"Yes sir." Matthew chuckles waving him off, he sits beside me and puts his arm around my shoulder, as all of the boys come in.

"Lets go swimming!" Nash suggests happily, I give him a confused look and then remember we have a pool.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot we have a pool." I laugh, Matthew chuckles looking down at me then back up.

"If Katie is up for it, I am." Matthew stated for himself, I look at Cameron, Nash and Hayes as they all glare at him, I don't know why Hayes got mad, but whatever.

"Ok well I am up for it." I shrug awkwardly, everyone agrees and we head upstairs.

"To the pool!" Taylor yells running out and I roll my eyes.

"YAY!" Everyone, except Madison and I, cheers.

"Wait us girls have to change!" I say grabbing her hand, they nod and Cameron tells us he's gonna wait for us, Madison and I run upstairs quickly, I grabbed a navy blue bikini I wear, and Madison wore, a black and white polka dot bikini.

"All the boys are hot, but Shawn caught my attention the most." She laughs pointing her finger in my face as I'm changing.

"Oh my gosh, hoe." I laugh slapping her shoulder, she pouts her lip and I roll my eyes playfully.

"Just kidding." I say dragging the letters out, she rolls her eyes and starts changing.

"Haha, but no seriously he's cute." She shrugs, I nod and slip on my cover up.

"Yeah, but he has a girlfriend, I think." I tell her, she sighs loudly and makes a face at me.

"You're lucky." She says, obviously referring to me

"Why do you say that?" I ask her, she gives me a look and we both face each other.

"Matthew has the hots for you, duh." She says with a duh tone, my jaw drops and I laugh a little

"No he does not!" I shake my head, she laughs and nods.

"He totally does!" She says nodding and laughing.

"Whatever." I giggle while blushing hard, we walk out and down the stairs.

"The house is empty I think everyone went out to the pool without us." Madison says stepping onto the first step of the stairs.

"No, this has to be a setup, they said they'd wait." I say making her stop, she looks at me and points at a water bottle sitting on the railing.

"Hold on." I say and I grab the water bottle to throw and trigger something maybe, I throw it and nothing happens.

"Ok let's go." I say slowly, we start walking, very slowly might I add, and as soon as we're on the bottom step, I feel arms wrap around me, I look up to see Hayes holding my waist, he throws me over his shoulder, and started running, I scream yelling put me down.

"I'm sorry for doing this!" He yells laughing, I laugh and the next thing I know, I feel the cold water and keep my arms tight around Hayes.

(Hayes' POV)

I jump into the pool, we come up out of the water and we start laughing.

"We should probably get out." She laughs shivering, I nod and shiver too.

"Yeah, it's cold as fuck." I laugh making her laugh too, as we're climbing out she slips and almost hits her head on the cement, she clings to me tight and is breathing very heavily, I hug her shivering body.

"I got you, I got you." I tell her trying to soothe her, she nods and releases from me.

"Thank you, Hayes." She smiles at me and I respond with a smile.

(Katie's POV)

Hayes smiles at me and I feel all tingly inside, but I don't think I like him, I mean I'm crushing on Matthew, but Hayes? Nah.

"Let's go get dried up." I tell him, he nods and we head inside, I laugh and we head up the stairs, we go into my room and he sits down.

"I'm gonna change." I tell him, he nods and turns on the tv, I change into sweatpants and a plain t-shirt and put my hair in a bun.

"Cute." Hayes smiles at my body, I roll my eyes and laugh sarcastically.

"Haha, so funny." I say sarcastically, he smiles and shakes his head.

"I mean it." He says still nodding, I laugh and thank him.

"So what you wanna do?" I ask him plopping down on the bed beside him.

"Watch a movie?" He asks me, I shrug and nod.

"But first snacks!" He says pointing a finger in face, I nod and stand up.

"Alright you pick the movie, I'll get the food." I say and smile.

"Alrighty." He says with a wink, we both laugh and I walk out.
