(Katie's POV)

"Where is it?" I shout throughout the whole house.

"Where's what?" Hayes ask popping his head in my door.

"My damn laptop, I've gotta do some research." I lie, I really wanna look up my dad I've been getting curious about him lately.

"Uh I think Nash borrowed it, you'll have to go into the rats nest." He says pointing to Cameron's room across the hall, I roll my eyes and stomp over to his room, I peek into the door and see no one is in the room, I walk in silently and spot my laptop on Nash's bed, I walk over there and grab it someone pounces on me and makes me drop my laptop very hard on the ground missing the whole laundry pile.

"What the hell?" I scream falling onto the clothes and hurting my arm badly.

"Katie?" Someone shouts and helps me up, they flick on the lights and I rub my arm because it hurts like shit, I look up and see Matthew, he looks sorry and I shrug, I look down at my laptop and pick it up and examine it, I open it up and see it's broken on the inside and won't cut on.

"Oh my god." I groan closing it.

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to." Matthew apologizes and takes it from me.

"I'll get it fixed and I'll even bring you food back." He smiles, I nod and give him a kiss, he smiles pulling away, he gives my neck a strange look and looks to me with the same look.

"What's this? Did I do this? Because I don't remember doing this recently." He says pointing at my neck.

"Um, If it's a brown spot, it's most likely when I burnt myself with the straightener." I shrug and strangely he nods believing me and walking out with my laptop, I hear him walk down the stairs, grab some keys and close the front door and I sigh loudly.

"Well that was close." Hayes chuckles coming in the doorway.

"Too close." I nod and push past him, Cameron runs into me and I apologize.

"Sorry, by the way can I borrow your laptop?" I ask him.

"Oh yeah sure." He shrugs and walks into his room, I follow him and he starts to throw things in different places searching for it.

"So where is yours?" He asks digging through his desk drawers.

"Oh Matthew broke it and he's going to get it fixed now." I shrug and sit on Nash's bed.

"How? And why do you need one so bad?" He questions me and I panic, he's never wanted me talking to my real dad, he told me he's a bum if he don't stay with your mum, which is stupid because neither of us talk like that.

"Hello?" Cameron asks me and I look at him from my daze.

"Oh, I need to do some research about pigs." I lie well I mean he is sort of a pig.

"Oh nice?" He says more like a question.

"Yeah, I mean who loves pigs right? I do." I smile uneasily and shrug when he looks away.

"Oh here it is!" He shouts grabbing it from a pile of trash and wiping all the dirt off.

"You really should clean this room sometime." I say taking the laptop and walking out, I open my door and am pulled in by a male figure, who then shuts the door and turns on the lights, I'm relieved when I see it's just Hayes and shrug walking over to my bed.

"Pigs huh? Sounds fun, can I help?" He smirks.

"Shut up, you know I'm not." I say getting comfortable under my covers and turning on the laptop.
