Chapter 7

(Katie's POV)

I went upstairs and started to shower, once I was done I walked into my room and got my outfit ready.

It was a blue Hollister crop top, denim high waisted shorts and my jeweled rainbows, I was putting my hair up when Madison came in with Shawn.

"Um, why you holding my bae's hand?" I ask Shawn while taking her hand away.

"Um, because she's my bae." He smiles grabbing her hand back, my jaw drops and I shake my head.

"When?" I ask them loudly, Madison shushes me and I smack her hand away.

"Calm down, well you know when Hayes grabbed you?" She asks me, I nod slowly and she smiles.

"Well, Shawn grabbed me and you left with Hayes so me and Shawn spent time together." She tells me, I nod and look at the ground then back at them.

"So are you guys a thing?" I ask them, they shrug and look at each other.

"I guess." They both say at the same time, we all laugh and they leave, I get dressed and head downstairs, as I'm walking down there I see Hayes sitting beside some girl, laughing and for some reason I get jealous.

"Oh, Hey." Hayes says when he notices me, I wave and look at the girl.

"Um this is my girlfriend, Olivia." He says as they stand up, I smile at her fakely and she does the same, she's really pretty, she's got long blonde hair, she's skinny, and she's the perfect height.

"Hi, nice to meet you." She finally says and puts her hand out for me to shake it.

"Hi." I manage to get out, Hayes looks at me confused, and I turn away, why am I jealous? Everyone finally gets here, but Matthew.

"Um wheres Matthew?" I ask Carter, he shrugs.

"Oh he left early, I have no clue why." He says realizing it after a minute.

"Oh." I answer looking back down to the ground, I have no one to spend time with.

"Ok, I guess I'm stuck with you two." I say to Madison and Shawn.

"Guess so." They say at the same time, I laugh and we all head out the door.

(Matthew's POV)

I wanted to surprise Katie, with a day all to us, I really like her and I managed to get Olivia here to keep Hayes away, I grin as I see the car pull up, I hide behind a bin so when she walks by I'll hug her from behind, they all get out of the car Katie last, they start walking in my direction and I smile widely.

(Katie's POV)

We're finally here, I wanted to kill myself in the car, Hayes and Olivia kept laughing and being cute, Ugh, why the hell am I jealous?

Shawn and Madison start running off with each other, I start to scream after them but their gone.

Taylor goes off with Aaron and Carter, Cameron gives me money and goes off with Nash, all that's left are, Hayes, Olivia, and I

"Um, so." He starts to say something.

"I know go ahead and ride with your girlfriend, I'll be fine." I say with a fake smile, Hayes frowns and Olivia drags him away, I start walking to the Ferris wheel, I had not been by myself, but for thirty seconds and I feel arms wrap around my waist, I turn around and see Matthew which scares me.

"SURPRISE!" He yells letting go of me, I shake my head and slap his arm while he laughs.

"That's why you came early? To scare me?" I ask him laughing, he shakes his head and smiles down at me.

"No, I wanted to be alone with you." He smiles and I smile back happily.

Matthew is so cute, but Hayes, something about Hayes.

"Alright, so what you wanna do first?" He asks me as we start walking, I shrug and point at the Ferris wheel.

"Nah, too boring." He tells me waving it off, I shrug and see a roller coaster.

"How about we ride The Hurler?" I suggest, he nods and we head over to it, after about thirty rides, we decide to eat, we head onto the pier for some frozen yogurt.

"I had a lot of fun today." I say as we get in line, he smiles down at me and nods.

"Yeah me too." He says looking into my eyes, they drift to the window and he smiles.

"Hey look, there is a concert over there." He says pointing towards the stage, I nod and turn to him.

"Lets go." I say grabbing his hand, he stops and I turn to him.

"But, we haven't gotten the food yet.." He pouts his lip, I roll my eyes and nod getting back in line.

"Alright, let's do a slow song." the announcer says dramatically.

"Ok, we should go now." I state trying to drag him away from all of the couples pairing up.

"No, no, no, we're slow dancing." he winks at me, I nod knowing I'm not going to win this battle and he pulls me into his chest, we start to sway back and forth, I smile and smell his cologne on his shirt.

"Matthew, this is nice." I smile looking up at him, he nods and pulls me back in, I like Matthew a lot, I do, but why can't I get Hayes off my mind.

(Hayes POV)

"Alright time to go." Cameron says while everyone huddles up, he gives me a look and then his eyes go wide.

"Wait where's Katie?" He asks me, I shrug and he gives me a look.

"Hayes." Nash yells at me and smacks my arm, I scoff and stand up.

"What did I do?" I ask him with a annoyed tone, he rolls his eyes and looks at Cameron.

"You said you were riding the rides with her!" He exclaims loudly, my eyes go wide and I realize I left her.

"I- I'll find her." I stutter, I run off looking for her, not looking back.

"KATIE!" I yell out, I don't know how supposed to find her in a huge park, but I'm gonna try my hardest.

"WHAT?" I hear back, well that wasn't too hard.

"WHERE ARE YOU?" I yell back, I look all around and see all kinds of people who resemble Katie.

"THE CONCERT!" She yells back, I look around and spot a bunch of flashing lights and people.

"STAY THERE!" I yell running towards it.

"HAYES I-" She starts to yell, but I couldn't hear what she said due to the music.

I search and search, finally I see her with Matthew.
