Chapter 16

(Katie's POV)

I put on my black and white Aztec leggings, a red Magcon sweater, because it's cold outside right now and my red vans, McDonalds isn't even far, it's like five minutes away, I'm surprised I'm not a fat ass I think grabbing my skateboard, I laugh as I skate down to McDonalds, I see the bright sign ahead of me, I smile as I skate up and see Hayes sitting at the door, I put my skateboard down by his, he puts his arms out for me to jump into, I run into him and jump.

"I missed you so much." Hayes says into my neck.

"I missed you too." I say kissing his cheek, we stare at each other for a while.

"We should go inside." I say, he nods and puts me down.

"Yeah, I'm starving." He groans rubbing his stomach.

"Sorry I made you wait." I apologize opening the door.

"It's okay, I was excited that you were coming anyway." He grins, I laugh and we order.

(Hayes' POV)

We sit here just talking, it feels like it's been forever since we just talked, It was great.

"Alright, what are you gonna do about the Olivia thing?" Katie asks me getting up to throw away the trash.

"Oh, uh, I didn't think about her." I laugh, Katie hid her smirk, but I could tell she was smirking.

"I'm just gonna apologize." She says opening the door.

"Really?" I ask surprised, Katie doesn't like to apologize for anything.

"Yeah, because I wanna be able to touch you with her around." She laughs grabbing her board.

"Yeah, I miss that." I say grinning, and grabbing mine as well, we both smile.

"So, uh should we walk inside the house together?" She asks, as we ride down the empty street.

"Yeah, everyone is probably sleeping right now." I chuckle at the fact that it's 1:00 am.

(Katie's POV)

"Hey, I'm glad we're talking again." Hayes says grabbing my hand as we get to the steps.

"Me too." I say putting down my board, we both smile and we walk up to the door, hand in hand, I open the door, silently, it's dark so everyone is asleep, Hayes starts to laugh really loudly and the lights cut on.

"What the hell." Me and Hayes yell scared shitless.

"You two are bad little children, but I won't rat you out this time." Madison says going up the stairs, I smile and laugh silently with Hayes.
