Chapter 21

(Hayes POV)

We all awkwardly sit down in the living room, Katie was going to sit by me, but Cameron drug her to his side and put Nash on her other side, she looks at me confused and I shrug.

"Ok first things first, why are we here?" Carter asking pulling Madison on his lap.

"Um, I told you, Katie." Cameron says with a duh tone.

"I know but you don't need us." Jacob says referring to him, Mahogany, Aaron, and the jacks.

"Yeah." Everyone else agrees with them nodding their heads.

"Okay then, Taylor, Matthew, Hayes, and Nash, stay, the rest can leave." Everyone leaves, but Madison and Shawn.

"You guys can leave." I say to them with a duh tone.

"We wanna watch." Madison says smiling and eating something out of a container.

"Creep." I laugh and Cameron snaps his head over at me.

"This is not time for joking." Cameron says seriously, I roll my eyes and play with my fingernails.

"Why am I even here?" Taylor asks curiously, we all look at him and then look to Cameron.

"Don't question me, and I'm not stupid!" Cameron snaps at him and he puts his hands up in defense.

"Well damn." Shawn and Madison say in sync, I laugh lightly and get glares from Nash and Katie.

"Now, time for rules!" He shouts, Katie snaps her head up at him and holds her ears.

"Can you lower your ugly voice?" Katie says annoyed and rolls her eyes.

"Katilyn, not now!" He snaps at her not even looking behind at her.

"Ok so I only trust Hayes, and I don't think Katie and him are gonna date, yet." He smirks, I chuckle and get a few hateful glares my way.

"Now, rule number one, no dating obviously!" He speaks, I look over and Taylor and Matthew are shocked, I laugh and Katie rolls her eyes at Cameron.

"Rule number two, no touching, unless it's a hug, but only a short hug!" He snaps at me I glare at him and he gives me a small smirk, I think he's on my side.

"And, no more being alone without me or Nash in the room." He says finishing, we all sit there avoiding eye contact.

"Got it?" He yells towards us, then Katie and we all mumble inaudibly.

"What'd y'all say?" He shouts angrily with his fists turning white.

"Yeah." Everyone answers together.

"Good, now go do your own things." He says shooing us out, we all shuffle out slowly.

(Katie's POV)

Everyone leaves and I just sit here speechless.

"Aight, Cameron we got to go film." Nash says getting up and putting his phone away, I roll my eyes and stand up.

"Oh yeah, you have to come." Cameron says turning to me, I roll my eyes and look up at him.

"What about Hayes?" I ask with an attitude, he hesitates but nods.

"Ok I trust Hayes, but make sure someone is always in the room!" He says hugging me and grabbing his coat, I smile and hug him closely.

"Okay, thank you Cammy." I smile hanging on to him, he pulls away and looks down at me.

"Even though I made you mad, we still on for tomorrow?" He asks me smiling like an idiot, I wait and shrug, he frowns and I laugh.

"Yeah yeah." I say and shove him out of the door, Nash laughs and follows him out, I close the door and lock it.

"Hey, busy?" Someone asks me coming downstairs, I turn and see Taylor.

"Actually yeah, gotta hang out with Hayes or Madison." I say looking him up and down.

"Man." He sighs shaking his head, making me get annoyed.

"You heard Cameron stupid, sorry I don't want to get killed." I snap at him, he looks taken aback and I roll my eyes.

"Snap snap." He says and walks into the kitchen, Matthew then walks downstairs with some girl, I give him a hateful glance.

"Aye, Kenzie can you go get my wallet out of my room?" Matthew asks the girl looking straight at me.

"Um sure." She says shrugging, she walks upstairs and Matthew bust out laughing.

"What?" I ask annoyed, he continues to laugh until he calms down.

"I have my wallet." He says pulling it out of his pocket and putting it in the air, I roll my eyes and start to walk upstairs.

"Wait-" Matthew starts to say while holding his hand against me.

"I can't be alone with you, remember?" I snap at him, he nods as I walk up stairs, I go into my room and see Hayes asleep on my bed, its like 3:30 p.m, I climb into the bed and lay down beside him.

"What?" He asks me with a raspy voice and not opening his eyes, its kinda hot.

"Nothing, I just wanted to see you and Cameron and Nash left." I chuckle.

"Oh so I'm your side chick anyway?" He asks smirking with his eyes still closed, I nod and laugh.

"Totally." I say still laughing, I calm down and look at his facial features, I smile as he makes a face at me without opening his eyes.

"Aren't we not supposed be touching?" He asks me opening his eyes which are bloodshot and red.

"Woah, what happened?" I yell sitting up and he sits up beside me.

"To what?" He asks me sitting up as well and examining his body.

"Your eyes look nasty." I exclaim holding his face and looking into his blue eyes which are highlighted from the red.

"Oh... uh.. I didn't sleep much" He lies to me.

"You were just sleeping." I say giving him a look.

"I don't wanna talk about it." He says getting up, I stop him by grabbing his hand.

"Fine, but I still wanna help." I say looking up at him, I drag him down and he sits beside me

"It's not you, it's just Olivia is... she's got some guy friends and I was told she's cheating on me with them." He says looking at me, then looking down.

"Hayes, she doesn't deserve you." I say making him look up at me, he frowns and grips onto my hand tighter.

"So you think she's cheating on me?" He asks looking up, I shake my head and look at him.

"I honestly don't know." I say sadly, I know this is hurting him, he sighs and lays down, I lay back with him.

"It'll be okay." I say and kiss his cheek while running over his hand with mine.

"Ew, cooties." He says making a disgusted face, I smirk and shake my head.

"Nope, aids." I tell him, he laughs and wraps his arm around me.

"Let's sleep." He says nuzzling his head into my neck, I smile and nod closing my eyes.
