Chapter 24

(Katie's POV)

I get up the stairs and I see Hayes pacing the floor, I laugh because he looks so worried.

"What's the matter?" I laugh putting my phone down, he whips his head around and sighs deeply, he walks over to me and picks me up into a hug, he holds me up by my legs and I hang to him tight and put my face in his neck, I don't know what's wrong, but he is really happy to see me.

"I'm so happy your home." He sighs into my shoulder still holding me up.

"What do you mean?" I ask curiously pulling away from him.

"I was worried." He says with a big breath,I sigh and kiss his neck as I pull away, he puts me down and kisses my cheek and I smile.

"I need to change." I say looking at what I was wearing, I was wearing skinny jeans, brown leather knee high boots, a white noodle strap tank top, under a tan sweater hanging off my shoulder.

"Yeah ya do." He chuckles walking to the bed, I get undressed and leave on the white noodle strap tank top, and put on some short shorts.

"Hot." Hayes laughs looking at me up and down, making me and him laugh.

"Shut up, Mr. NotSingle." I smirk looking him up and down.

"Oh well, she'll get over it." He says walking over to me, he grabs me by my waist and puts me over his shoulder.

"Hayes!" I whisper yell not to awake anybody, he laughs and gently puts me on the bed he puts his arms up beside my shoulders, so he doesn't fall on top of me and we just stare at each other, smiling, I slip out from under him, I get in my bed and get under the covers.

"What's wrong?" He asks me getting in beside me and wrapping around me.

"I'm just tired." I say giving him a small smile.

"Liar, but ok." He chuckles and wraps his arms around my waist and puts his head on my shoulder, I smile, but also i can't help but think this is cheating.

"Goodnight." He mumbles, I kiss his cheek and he trys to hide his smirk, I laugh and fall asleep.

•the next morning•

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Someone screams banging pots into our room, Hayes and I both pop up, we were still in the same position, we look at each other than we look in front of our bed, everyone is standing there smiling, except Olivia and Matthew.

"Ahhh, thank yo-" Hayes gets cut off and his eyes widen, I glance to where he's looking at which is Olivia, Nash starts to laugh and so does Cameron, I give them a death glare and they stop laughing.

"Okay." Madison speaks up, I feel like I haven't seen her in forever, dumb Shawn.

"Well me and my besties have to talk." Madison says shooing everybody out, bedsides me and Hayes.

"I'm your bestie?" Hayes smirks at her, she shakes her head once everyone is out, he frowns and hangs his head down.

"Anyway, what the hell were you guys thinking?" She shouts at us silently, we both are confused.

"The cuddling! Dude, you're not single, and you, I don't even know!" She says yelling towards Hayes then me.

"Okay, calm down." I say sliding out of bed and slipping on Hayes' T-shirt.

"Okay, but Olivia wants to speak to Hayes, alone." She says sternly, I look at Hayes and he looks nervous, I grab my robe and my slippers, I put them on and walk out with Madison, as we're walking Olivia passes us and she snarls at me, I roll my eyes and keep walking.

(Matthews POV)

I'm sitting down at the island in the kitchen, since Cameron made those stupid rules for Katie, we haven't talked much, I want to hang out with her, but it is her birthday and we have to have a party, what's worse is it's a pool party, she's gonna be half naked in front of three hindered guys, why can't it just be a simple party for us?

"Hey." Katie smiles, coming into the kitchen, I smile when she sits down beside me.

"Oh hey, long time no see." I smile down at her and turn in the spinny chair to face her.

"I know right, it feels like it's been forever since I talked to anyone but Hayes and Cameron." She says rolling her eyes standing up and walking over to the fruit bowl.

"Oh, so wanna hang with me tonight then?" I ask hoping she'll say yes, that way I can keep perverts away from her.

"Yeah sure, why not?" She shrugs grabbing a banana, I smile widely and once she turns around I pump my fist in the air, she turns back around and I put my hand in my hair.

"Maybe then we could." I say drifting off and 'kissing the air'.

"Get over yourself." She rolls her eyes and laughs, I laugh lightly and she sits by me, we just talk and talk and talk.

"Hayes I do not care!" We hear Olivia yell obviously at Hayes, Katie starts laughing and I look at her.

"Looks like Hayes is in trouble." She says continuing to laugh and shaking her head.

"Why do you say that?" I ask sarcastically, she laughs and almost spits up her food.

"I would be mad too, if anyone cheated on me." She says sternly shaking her head and drinking some water.

"The thing is Olivia kinda cheated on Hayes too." I tell her, her eyes go wide and she turns her head to me.

"With?" She asks clearing up her throat, shit I'm in trouble.
