Night Changes

Part 9

"Let's go on a beach trip.", I said to Charlie as we put away the baby stuff we got yesterday.

"Okay when?", he said, putting away a burnt orange sleeper. We told everyone to just get gender natural stuff.

"I was thinking of the week we have for summer."

"Yeah that'll work we just have to go get all the baby stuff. Are you sure we'll be there when it's born."

"I say we'll be there about a month since it's supposed to premiere in September and the baby is due July to August."

"True. We leave a week after it premieres."

"I'll keep that in mind.", I said smiling. "I think we've got everything put away."

"Wanna go get breakfast?", he asked, standing up and reaching out his hand for me to take.

I took it and he pulled me up, "Yes can we get McDonald's breakfast burritos?", I said with puppy dog eyes.

He chuckled a little, "I thought you hated them."

I stuck my lip out, "But I really want one."

"I wasn't denying your request I was just confused.", he said grabbing the keys.

"Yay!", I cheered and followed him out to the car. "Ow the baby kicked me.", I did as I sat down in his car. He put his hand on my stomach while the baby kept moving and kicking.

"Hey jellybean stop hurting your mommy.", he said, I smiled.

The baby stopped kicking and moving, "How did you-"

"Magic.", Charlie said as he put the keys in and we headed to McDonald's. He gave me my food and I did a little dance, "You're so cute you know that.", he said kissing my hand.

"I know.", I said flipping my hair and eating my burrito. He just laughed at me. "Now I have to pee.", I said crossing my legs.

"Can you hold it for 3 minutes until we get home?"

"Yeah I think.". I said and started squirming.

"Okay we are here.", Charlie said, parking the car. I ran inside and luckily there was a bathroom in the lobby. I used it and came back out. Charlie was waiting for me.

"That was close.", I said. He just laughed a little and we went up to the room.

"We have 15 minutes until we have to leave to go to set Owens taking us." I nodded and sat on the couch.

"My tummy hurts.", I pouted.

"Was it the burrito?", he said, coming to sit next to me and rubbing it.

"No, it's just the baby growing."

"At Least we know its growing."

"I suppose.", I sighed. 15 minutes passed and Owen was banging on our door telling us to come on. I slipped into some sandals and left.

We got into his car Charlie was in the passenger seat and I laid down in the back. "Y/n you doing okay?", Owen asked.

"Yeah I'm fine.", I said I was really lying though I was a bit dizzy. Charlie took my hand into his I smiled and fell asleep.

Charlie Pov:

Eventually we got to set, "Y/n wake up." I said shaking her. She wouldn't get up, "Wake up.", I said poking her face which I knew she hated. "Owen she's not waking up!"

"She's probably in a deep sleep just carry her to your trailer.", he said. I nodded and picked her up she just laid in my arms limply.

"Owen, why does she look dead?", I said, noticing her face was pale.

Owen poured a little water on her face, "Charlie call an ambulance right now!"

"What about y/n!", I called after him as he ran to get someone.

"Right i'll call you take her to your trailer!", I nodded and ran with her to my trailer laying her on the bed.

"Come on y/n wake up I can't lose you.", I said shaking her a little trying to get her up. After a few minutes I heard sirens. Medics came in and took her asking me some questions which I answered. They told me I could go to the hospital with her and I have never gotten into a car so fast. We were almost to the hospital when she woke up.

"W-where am I?", she said sitting up. I took a breath of relief.

"Mrs. Gillespie you fainted due to a loss of blood pressure we are now on our way to the hospital.", one of the medics said. I thought about what he said Mrs. Gillespie not Ms. Y/L/N. I watched her nod and answer a few of the doctor's questions.

"Is Charlie here?", she asked.

"Yes he is right here.", he said moving to the side so she could see me. Her face lit up and I smiled waving a little. She reached out her hand and I grabbed it.

"How do you feel?"

"Well i'm a little light headed but better than I did in the car."

"Why didn't you tell us something was wrong?"

"I didn't want you to think something was wrong and though I just needed some rest"

"Well next time tell us so we don't think you died.", I said she laughed a little. When we got to the hospital they ran a few more tests to make sure nothing major was wrong luckily nothing was. They gave her some pills and we went back down to sit.

"Charlie quit I need to do my job.", y/n said trying to leave my trailer.

"No you need to rest.", I said, blocking the door. "Go lay back down."

"Ugh fine.", she said laying down. I smiled and went to set myself. A few hours later when I came back she was peacefully sleeping. I laid beside her and hugged her.

"Hey jellybean, I love you so much and can't wait to meet you in only 5 months.", I said down to the baby. I kept talking to it until I fell asleep myself.
