Night Changes

Part 20

I checked the time and it was almost time for me and Charlie to go. I started to wake up Charlie since I hadn't slept the whole night.

"Charlie.", I whispered shaking him lightly.

"Hey.", he said in his morning voice. "You okay?"

"Yeah but we have an hour before we have to go."

"Wait."

"What?"

"What are we gonna do with Leo?", he asked.

"Madi can't watch him because shes coming with us so Owen or Jeremy.", I said, stepping out of bed and going to my dresser.

"I say Jeremy."

"Okay can you call him while I get ready please?", I asked, grabbing leggings and a t-shirt.

""Of course.", he said. I went into the bathroom to take a shower. I looked in the mirror. I looked terrible. My face was red, puffy, an dI had dark circles from crying all night. All I want is another kid that I have all by myself but I cant. I got in the shower and did my regular routine. When I looked down I still had a slight bump but not like before.

Charlie knocked on the door, "Come on love we gotta leave.", he said in the calmest voice possible. I sighed, turning off the shower and getting ready.

I came back into the room to see Charlie and main Madi by the door talking to Jeremy, "Hey."

Madi rushed over to me and gave me a hug, "How are you? And honestly did you sleep at all?"

"Not good and no."

"I'm so sorry.", she said, rubbing my back. I just rested my head on her shoulder.

"Hey sorry to break this up but we gotta go.", Charlie said.

"Okay. Thanks for watching Leo Jeremy.", I said.

"It's no problem and good luck.", he said as we walked out of the door, went to our car, then went to the clinic.

When we got there I walked slowly inside and up to the front desk, "I have an appointment today for y/n Gillespie."

"Alright we should get you in shorty.", the receptionist said smiling. I gave her a small smile back and made my way to the seats with Madi and Charlie.

A while later my name was called and we went into the room, "What seems to be the problem today?", the nurse said.

I took a deep breathe, "I'm pregnant and the morning I woke up with blood all around me so we called our doctor and she said it's probably a miscarriage."

"I'm so sorry. We'll do a blood test, urine test, and a ultrasound."

"Thank you." I said a few minutes later she came back with all the stuff. She handed me a cup, I peed in it, then she took my blood now it was time for the ultrasound. She Had me lay down and put the gel on my stomach.

Trying to find something she said, "I'm sorry I can't find a heartbeat or baby. But, I'll go see what the blood and urine results are." I nodded and she left.

I wiped the gel off my stomach and Madi and Charlie came and hugged me, "Did you think about adopting?", Madi said.

"Yeah but, I still have hope, give me a year and if I'm not pregnant then adopt. If Charlie is okay with that."

"Yeah let's do it.", he said.

Then the nurse came back in, "I'm sorry you've had a miscarriage. Maybe think about a surrogate."

"How do you find one?"I was just curious about the future.

"Most people prefer friends or family but you can hire one too."

"I'll do it!", Maid practically shouted. Me and Charlie looked at her shocked.

"What? I will do it, I mean I turn 19 this year and will be 20 next year so.."

"Would you really do that for me?"

"Yes, what's the harm?"

"Well you'd have to go through the whole pregnancy symptoms and give birth then having to give it up.", Charlie said.

"I'd still be in their life though right?", she asked.

"Of course you could move into our house.", I said.

She smiled big, "Not having to pay for food or rent and spending time with baby all day i'm down."

"Let's give it six months?", Charlie said looking at me. I nodded eagerly and hugged Madi.

"Alright well I think my job is done see you soon maybe.", the nurse said leaving. Me, Charlie, and Madi followed her out and into our car.

When we got in the car and started driving I asked Madi, "Are you sure you wanna do that? It's a lot of pain."

"Yes, I'm positive.", she said.

"Thank you so much.", I said. "You're literally the best!"

"Yeah even though I hate you sometimes thank you." Charlie said.

"I know im amazing.", she said, flipping her hair causing me and Charlie to laugh. The rest of the day we had a lot of filming and once we got done everyone was too tired to do anything so we just went to sleep.
