Night Changes

Part 15

"Charlie I can't do this anymore!", I yelled, throwing the negative pregnancy test across the bathroom floor. We had been trying to get pregnant for one year but it wasn't working.

"Shhh you're gonna wake up Leo. But we'll keep trying I promise I won't give up on you.", he said giving me a tight hug.

"I just can't handle the pain.", I said starting to Sob. He just helped me and rubbed my back.

"Listen I made a promise to you I would love you no matter what we'll keep trying and if nothing else we'll adopt it's not that big of a deal.", he said.

"Charlie you don't understand this is messing with me metally and making me think I'm not good enough or something."

"Trust me you are perfect just the way you are."

"Then why can't I have a child huh.", I said getting angry.

"You already do look at Leo, he's the most beautiful baby you've ever seen."

"But he needs a sibling. I don't want him to be lonely like I was."

"Maybe we could adopt."

"I just I can't think right now."

"We could watch a show."

"Can I be alone actually.", I said sitting on the rim of the bathtub.

"Yeah I can go make you something to eat.", he suggested walking out.

"I'm good, I'll be there in a minute i'm taking a bath.", I said starting the water.

"Meet me in the living room!", he called. I just nodded and got in the bath. All I did was sit there and cry. Soon enough I came out. Charlie was sitting on the couch. I went and sat by him.

He put his arm around me, "You good?"

"Yeah i'm fine. This show again.", I said throwing my hands up.

"You know it's my favorite."

"Yeah yeah.", I said snuggling close to him. I didn't really care about the show, I just wanted to cuddle.

"I love you.", he said kissing the top of my head.

"Love you too.", I said and went to sleep.
