I should have thought first before I run away.

Maybe I should wait for sunrise.

That means I should stay awake until that happens.

I yawned and shivered from the cold breeze.

I wonder if his happy that I left. Who am I kidding,his probably happy that he doesn't have to see me anymore.

Suddenly I heard a tree branch snap in half. Causing me to be alert.

Who could it be?

"What are you doing here?" A unfamiliar voice asked

I turned around and was blinded by the unknown person's flashlight. I groaned and covered my eyes with my hand.

"I-I'm lost."I said"do you know where this place is?"

The flashlight moved away from my face and I sighed in relief.

"How did you even get lost. Do you know dangerous it is to be alone here at night?" She said and I looked down

She sighed and asked"Where do you live?"

I told her where I lived and she gasped.

"So you are part of the Woods. Word got out about the Woods found out that Nikita wasn't related to them." She said"Are you perhaps the real one?"

I nodded my head and she gasped.

"Must be nice." She said

Only if she knew.

People always assume that if you are rich your life is easier but it's not. I also thought too but all I want to do now is cry.

"I can help you get back home." She said

"Thank you I would have been lost without you."I said

She smiled and gestured to me to follow her and I did.

"Thank you so much."I said while standing outside the gate

"No problem and my name is Amy." She said

"I'm Josephine and it was nice meeting you."I said

"Likewise." Amy said

I waved her goodbye and stared at the gate.

What if they're anger or they didn't even notice I was gone for hours.

I took a deep breath and let it out before pressing the intercom.

"Who is this?" The person from the other side ask

"It's Josephine." I answered

"Where have you been?! We were looking for you!" The person yelled" Do you know how worried we are?"

He sighed.

"Come to the living room once you are in." Then the gate opened

I think I'm in trouble.

I heard that they were about to make a search party to find me but once Emory told them I was home everyone stopped panicking.

Once they came home they hugged me one by one except Alaric.

I really need to solve things with him or there's no telling where this will go.

"Where did you run off to?" My father asked

I bit my lip.

"I don't know, I was lost." I answered

He sighed and asked" Was this after you talked to Alaric?"

"What?I have nothing to do with her being missing." Alaric said

I nodded my head to the question he asked me.

Suddenly he stood up and slapped Alaric and I froze, I have never seen this side of him.

I looked at the rest of my brothers but they seemed to be looking elsewhere.

"She could have been kidnapped again because of you." My father said coldly

Alaric hanged his head down.

"Im sorry." He said

"It's not me you need to apologise to it's your sister." My father said

The mood in the house changed and everyone left, leaving me with Alaric.

"I'm sorry." He said

"Y-you don't have to be, I was at fault too."I said

He shook his head and said"As much as I don't like you I shouldn't have treated you like that because you are my sister."

This is the first time he ever called me his sister.

"You made me dislike you too but what can you say, siblings don't always like each other."I said

I gave him a small smile and he returned it.

He ruffled my hair and said"I might be the worst brother but I will try and be better than Luca."

I smiled.

"I see you too made up." Miklaus said while walking into the living room with Samson

"Please don't run away next time." He said"I'm sure there will be someone else to trigger you next time."

"I won't."I said

He smiled at me and asked"Want to get ice cream?"

"But it's late."I said

"There's ice cream in the freezer." He said and Alaric groaned

"I was saving that for me." He said and Samson smiled

"Think of it as a apology gift." Samson said

"Whatever I'm going to my room." He said

At least his back to normal.

I looked at the two and found them already preparing the ice cream. I would expect this from Samson but from Miklaus, I would never expect it.

At least now I know I can't judge everyone by they looks.

"Why do you have more than me?" Samson asked Miklaus

"I don't,you kept on eating yours while I was still busy with mine." He said

"Josephine are you seeing this, his trying to scan me." Samson said

"You can have some of mine." I said and he smiled

"No,don't even try." Miklaus said to him

Samson groaned and I smiled sheepishly.

This is what my life will be from now on and I'm prepared for whatever it has in stored for me. Even if I have to fight with some of my brothers at least I know this time they are real.
