I stood by the door feeling all shy and nervous. He turn to look at me and patted the space next to him on the bed.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and sat next to him but not to close.

" You don't have to be afraid, I don't bite." He said while making eye contact with me.

I nodded my head slowly and relaxed.

" So Josie,you seeing anyone?" He asked me from out of the blue

" I-I'm not." I stuttered

Why did I even stutter?

It's not like his going to ask me out right.

Suddenly he started to stroke my hair and combing it out with his fingers. We started at each other for a really long time before he moved closer to me.

He stopped and my breathe hitched when I felt his lips slightly touch mine. I blushed and closed my eyes, waiting for his lips to touch mine. When nothing happened I opened my eyes but closed them back when I felt his lips connect to mine.

He pushed me down and intertwined my hand with his as he deepen the kiss.

We went like that for awhile until I found it hard to breathe. I started to hit his chest so he could let go but instead his tongue got in my mouth. I was at the verge of tears.

I felt like I was going to faint at any moment but he then let go.

As soon as his lips left mine I began to cough as I let in the oxygen.

" Are you fine?" He asked

" Yes." I said before coughing one last time

I can't believe my first kiss almost made me faint.

" Josie." He said my name while putting his hand on mine." Did anyone ever tell you how pretty you are." He said but it sounded more like a question

" No." I answered back

He smiled at me and so did I.

" I like you Josie." He said which made my heart skip a beat" would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked

I blinked my eyes twice, thinking it was a dream.

" Y-yes Jayson." I said while smiling at him

And then after that we talked and got to know each other better.

I turned off my phone once the message was sent. After I came back home mom wasn't here so I waited and waited but she never came.

I felt worried. What if her boss had done something to her again. I couldn't stop thinking of all the worst possible things that could happen.

I tried to call her but it went to voicemail.

I'm probably overthinking this. She probably still working since she said that she will work late today. I tried convincing myself which worked because I slept like a baby.

When I woke up I went to do my daily routine before walking to my mother's room. I knocked but no one answered so I knocked again which no one answered to. I bulge in her room and found no one inside.

I panicked and rushed to my phone to call her. The phone ranged but no one picked up. Then suddenly I heard the front door open. I rushed to the door and saw her.

" Hey sweetie what's wrong?" She asked

I run up to her and hugged her.

" I missed you." I said while I tried to fight back my tears which didn't work.

" Aw." She said before kissing my forehead" what made you miss me?" Mom asked

" I-I thought something bad happened to you at work." I said

She smiled at me before shaking her head.

" Nothing happened sweetie." She said" but I got some real good news for you." She said

I frowned my eyebrows in confusion.

" We are moving to LA next week." She said with excitement" and I found a school for you."

I stood there frozen.

If I was moving away it meant I was going to leave Jayson behind.

" What's with the sad face?" Mom asked me

I shook my head and smiled at her.

" It's nothing mom." I said
