" Who was that girl?" I asked Alaric my twin brother
He shrugged his shoulders and said" I don't quite remember her name well but I think it was Jess,Jamie no it was Josephine."
" Don't you think she looks like mom?" I asked him
" Why would you think that, mom was way prettier." Alaric said
" But you can't deny the facts that she has the same eyes as us and she even has freckles,like mom." I said
" Asa I know you miss mom everyone does." He said" you probably imaging things."
I can't be wrong she definitely looks like mom. I know my mother's sister has a daughter but she doesn't look like her.
Gosh, maybe she just looks like her.
" Nikita." Samson one of our older brother called her
" Yeah." She responded
" Don't you want to dye your hair like mine?" Samson asked
" No, she can't." I said
" Hey I'm the adult here." Samson said
" Yeah and Apollo won't approve of that." I said
" Jeez." Samson said before sighing" no one here treats me like an adult."
" It's because you make the worst decision." Miklaus said
Samson rolled his eyes and left the living room.
" Did you do your homework?" Miklaus asked Nikita
She smiled and hesitated before saying" I was about to."
After Nikita left the living room Miklaus turned to me.
" Did you get the package that was delivered this morning?" He asked me
" Yeah, I left it in your office." I said
" Where's Luca?" He asked
" He said he still has some unfinished business to do." I answered
" Once he comes back tell him that he needs to see me in my office." He said
" Okay." I said then he left
Oof, finally I can breathe. Sometimes that brother of mine doesn't know what his presence can do to others.
Josephine's pov
I walked into the kitchen to find my mother sitting on the chair.
" Mom." I called out
" Oh, you here already." She said" how was school?" She asked but she didn't look at me at all, she just stared at the table.
I know what this is.
It's not the first time she acted like this. Last time her boss hurt her and burised her but she still wouldn't report him.
I went and hugged my mother from behind.
" Mom you don't have to hide, you know I already know everything right." I said
The room got quiet, all I could hear was my mother's sobs.
It happened again and I didn't like like.
