" You have everything with you right?" Mom asked for the hundredth time

" Yessss." I said while dragging the s.

It's been a week and it was our moving day. I felt bad that I was leaving Jayson behind and I couldn't bring myself to tell him that I was leaving.

But Mom wants us to bid Mrs Williams and her son goodbye before we leave.

I sighed as I thought of how I was going to tell him.

" Josephine." Mom called me making me snap out of my thoughts

" Yeah?" I said in confusion

" Pay attention or I will have to repeat myself." She said" as I were saying, once we get to the new house we are going shopping for your school supplies."

I nodded my head before zoning out when she said school. I don't hate school it's just that I got social anxiety.

" Mom do- nevermind." I said

Unfortunately for me, Jayson already knew about me and mom moving out and he wasn't happy about that.

Flashback

He glared at me as I sat on his bed.

" Jayson I was going to tell you." I said while looking at him

He clicked his tongue before rolling his eyes.

" Ja-"

" Shut up!" He yelled at me which caused me to close my mouth." Did you tell your mom about us?" He asked

I held the blanket as I felt anxious.

" I-I didn't." I said while looking down

He chuckled which scared me even more.

" So you really weren't gonna tell her." He said" are u ashamed of me?" He asked

I shook my head as I bit my lips.

" No." I said

" Then WHY!" He asked while raising his voice

" I was scared, okay!" I yelled out" she was so happy when she told me the news and I couldn't bring myself to tell her."

He sighed before walking to me and sat down next to me.

He cupped my cheeks and said" I don't want you to leave after we just got together but I know how much your mother means to you."

I gave him a small smile before he connect our lips.

End of flashback

And I do feel bad but I can't leave mom alone.

" This would be your first plane ride, right?" Mom asked and I nodded my head.

Then I remembered-

" Mom what about the hospital,did they transfer you?" I asked

She smiled at me and nodded her head in response.

" Don't worry, everything is sorted out." She said while smiling as she squished my cheeks
