Epilogue(2.1)

It's bee a month since I found my family and I think we have gotten close but I still have trouble calling Mr Woods dad.

"Josie!" Julian yelled from across the room

I stood up from the couch and walked to the kitchen.

"Yes." I answered

"Can you please call everyone, tell them lunch is ready." He said

"Okay." I said before heading upstairs to call everyone down

The first person was Samson. I knocked onto his door and only got in when I heard him say" come in."

I stuck out my head from the door and said" Lunch is ready."

"Come in." Another voice said and that's when I realized Asa was inside

I smiled shyly and got in.

"You don't need to be scared." Asa said

"I wasn't scared, I just have to call the rest down." I explained

"Okay,then we are coming down." Asa said

I smiled and closed the door.

I walked to the next door and I sighed.

Alaric was hard to talk to. He used to dislike me or probably still does but I still feel uncomfortable with him, even Luca changed. But he still kinda treats be the same as he used to.

I was about to knock but stopped when Miklaus came out of nowhere.

"I wouldn't if I were you." He said

I was dumbfounded,why wouldn't he want me to knock.

Does Alaric hate me that much to even tell everyone that he doesn't want me close to him.

My expression sadden and I sighed.

"The others are already down." Miklaus said

He looked at me and gave me a small smile.

"You don't have to look so down maybe next time you can call them all." He said

"I'm not sad." I said

"Okay." He said"we don't want to keep the others waiting,do we?"

"No." I answered

He smiled and said" Want me to carry you downstairs?"

I shook my head and giggled.

"Im 15, I don't need to me carried." I said between giggles

"Then you are still young, carrying you won't be a problem." He said

I shook my head and he sighed in defeat.

"How come Luca can carry you?" He asked

"I don't know." I answered

I knew why but I couldn't tell him. I don't know why but out of all my brothers, Luca doesn't listen when I say no.

I sat next to Alaric and it was awkward. He kept on mumbling some words which I could not hear.

Lucky for me.

"Aren't you happy for Christmas?" Emory asked me from across the table

"Yeah."I said

"How could she not be." Alaric said" After all she probably never had a Christmas worth living for."

I hanged my head down and clenched my hands into a fist.

What was wrong with him.

"Why would you say that?" Samson asked
