hey y'all, for those of you wondering, my mind visualizes the character Dylan similarly to Alex Pettyfer and I see Florence as Siobhan Finneran (even though I'm not sure she'll end up having a big role in the story). that's just me, I encourage you to visualize the characters however you'd like! happy reading!

Spencer's POV:

A man I've never seen before stands in front of the BAU doors, dressed in an expensive-looking suit and perfectly gelled hair.

"Dylan?" Addie's voice questions next to me, a surprised look on her face. Dylan? As in, new-boyfriend-Dylan?

"What are you doing here!" Addie exclaims, walking forward to hug him as the rest of us stare bewilderedly. I can feel
my fists involuntarily clench when they embrace, a perfectly white smile encompassing Dylan's face.

"I thought I'd fly out to surprise you! I know you were having a tough case, so I figured you'd want some company," he grins.

"What about the firm? Don't you have a big trial coming up—" Addie starts, suddenly being silenced when Dylan presses his lips against hers. I have to turn away, my blood boiling. She's not yours anymore, Spencer, she's a grown woman who is allowed to kiss her boyfriend.

"My girlfriend is more important than a trial. Besides, I'll only be able to stay for two days before I fly to Florida to meet with a client," he responds.

"I, um... just let me grab my stuff and we can go, okay?" Addie flushes, realizing that the rest of the team is staring at her. All of us suddenly snap out of our stupor and head into the office, dropping our bags at our desks. Addie starts to organize files on her desk opposite of mine, but I notice how she deliberately avoids meeting my eye.

"So, that's Dylan. He seems like... a great guy," I say, internally cursing myself out for being so awkward.

"Uh, yeah, he is," she replies, still not looking at me. I look across the room where Penelope has cornered Dylan.

"It's so nice to finally meet you! Penelope Garcia, at your service!" She gushes.

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Penelope. Adeline has told me a lot about you," he smiles. Addie doesn't even like being called by her full name, too formal.

"All good things, I assume," she replies, winking. Dylan laughs good-heartedly and I can tell that Garcia is charmed.

"I like this one! He's a keeper, Addie!" Penelope exclaims, walking toward us with Dylan in tow.

"Oops, sorry Spencer," she adds, sending a sympathetic glance my way.

"Addie can date who she wants," I reply defensively.

"Am I missing something here?" Dylan asks.

"Nope! Let's go," Addie says, slinging her bag over her shoulder and grabbing Dylan's arm to drag him out, shooting both Penelope and I death glares.

"Damn, genius girl has a new lover boy!" Derek chuckles after they've left.

"Leave the adorable couple alone, Derek Morgan!" Penelope swats his arm. I sigh, the exhaustion from our case finally settling in. Grabbing my bag, I start the trek to my too-lonely apartment.

Addie's POV:

"I still can't believe you flew all the way out here," I say, more to myself than to Dylan, as I unlock the door to my apartment.

"I missed your beautiful face too much," he replies from behind me, placing a trail of kisses along my neck.

"The nanny is here!" I hiss, stepping away from his affection and greeting Florence, Willow's newest nanny.
