Chapter 39

It didn't take much time to reach heaven. The heaveners had all come to greet him. There were people cheering and throwing flowers to welcome him. The royal guards were having a hard time managing them. He glanced at the mob through the window.

Reina felt as if they were celebrities. She didn't peek through the window as she was afraid of their reaction. According to the others ,she did look completely like Reha. How would the citizens think of her and Taehyung ? She was still a cheater.

Taehyung took out a scarf from his bag and covered her face.

" Don't be afraid. Everything will be alright. I will manage. "

Reina nodded and held his hands. He slowly opened the door and came down. The crowd went wild after seeing him. When they noticed him holding a girl's hand they became quiet. They couldn't understand anything.

Who was this girl covered his scarf? Why was she dressed like that ?

Taehyung slowly dragged her with him towards the palace. She tightened her hold onto him feeling the curious gaze of so many. Once they entered the gate , the royal guards closed them.

The palace was huge ! She had never seen anything like that. Heaven was almost like Earth. It just seemed as if people were more elegant and respectful here. She felt out of place. The females were dressed in sparkling gowns while she was in some oversized clothes.

" Taehyung...."

" We are inside the palace now. You need to get changed. Maria , take her ."

A female servant came forward and bowed infront of them. She started walking towards the other side of the palace. Reina quietly followed her. They entered a quite big room. The room had big wardrobes.  Some mannequins had some beautiful clothings on display. It seemed to be some luxurious boutique .

She was handed over some big gowns. They all were mostly red in colour. Some had highly decorated designs. Rhinestones , sashes and embroidery added elegance to them.
Reina scrunched her nose. She had never worn something  that extravagant. She always preferred light and oversized clothes.

To her comfort came before style and fashion. All the gowns looked as if they weighted more than her. They were highly exposing too. After a lot of thinking , she decided to go with a sky blue gown. It looked lighter than the others. It had delicate floral embroidery and petals attached to it. The bust was less exposing and had thin straps attached to it.

After she was done dressing , a couple of other female servants entered the room. They proceeded to clean her face with different products. They finally added some makeup on her and tied her hair into a low bun.

When Reina took a look of her new look in the mirror , she couldn't recognise herself.

She had been pretty. Everyone used to compliment her face but it was the first time she had made some effort to look good. She would be meeting his parents in a few minutes.

They weren't even in a relationship let alone spending some time together. All they had been were a employer and employee. The curious looks of the others were making her feel stressed out.

What if she isn't worthy of him ? What if she doesn't get recognition by the others ? She knew no one here excluding Taehyung , Lord Jimin and Lord Seokjin. 

The Maria named servant took her back to where Taehyung had been with her. Taehyung was busy talking with some guards. The click sounds of her high heels made him glance towards her direction. His mouth was open. She looked beautiful.

Really beautiful. The light coloured dress really complimented her figure and we'll carved face.

Reina on the other hand was trying her best to hide her discomfort. She was struggling to handle the long train of her dress. The deep neck was something she was new to.

Feeling the eyes of everyone on her , her first instinct was to hide her exposed chest but she stopped middle way. It would make her look really weird. She sighed. She had no option to take it off. She really missed the comfort of her daily clothes. 

Taehyung grinned and extended his arm for her to hold onto. She slid hers into his. Taehyung started walking towards the inner place with her.

His heart was beating loudly. His feelings were in a mess. He was about to meet his family after decades. His brother and parents. Not to mention the friends he loved. He had his love with him .

Then again he was afraid too.

He was afraid of everyone's reaction. What would they say if he was back with the victim of the tragedy he had caused? There were the citizens too .... The servants had already started whispering gossips. It won't take much time to reach the other citizens.
