The foggy path was something Taehyung absolutely hated while going to the Demon kingdom. Lord Hoseok kept giggling whenever he saw his annoyed expression as he was being unable to see the road clearly.
They were in disguise. It would cause an uproar in the demon kingdom of they went in their usual form. They were in the form of two fireflies to avoid being identified. They could have had just made them look as fellow demons but it would be really hard to emit their foul smell. Normal demons won't be able to enter the chief's house but fireflies were capable of that.
" What are you trying to do in the chief's house actually?" questioned Hoseok.
" I need to figure out what they are upto. I don't think Lady Moara knows everything. I am also thinking of kidnapping Derios. "
" Are you serious ? That brat of a demon ? "
" It's the only weakness of the chief. I don't think he would put in line his son's life and the future of his whole clan. "
" Derios is well known for being a spoilt child. "
" I know... I heard that the chief went ahead to kill his own wife for scolding him. She's probably locked in a prison now. "
" Woah... Woah... Isn't she Derios' biological mother?"
" Yes. She is. "
" I really don't understand how he agreed to that. "
" Is this the gate to the demon kingdom ?"
" Seems so. "
They were infront a huge gate.
" How do we fly from here ? The gate is too big !"
" That's true. "
Hearing some footsteps , they flied towards the wild bushes. The door opened revealing the chief's son Derios.
" Whoa... What is he doing here ? I mean .... How did he end up here when we were trying to reach him in person? " Taehyung gasped.
" He probably understood about our presence. You know...you can't avoid your godly smell..."
" Must be that... So I presume we are in trouble ?"
" Why don't we capture him now ? "
" No... The guards are probably near him. We need to get him near the bridge. His powers won't be much active there. We can blackmail the chief after kidnapping him. "
" Sounds good. Now how do we get him there ?"
" He will follow our scent. As per my knowledge , he doesn't have much intelligence to understand what's going on. He probably thought that some intruder was here to spy. "
" Okay... So let's fly towards that direction. "
Both Hoseok and Taehyung flew towards the bridge. Derios on the other hand saw their glow. He decided to chase them. It didn't cross his kind that they might be the emperors. He thought that his father will be elated if he caught those spies. He looked at his bodyguards.
" I want to go somewhere alone. "
" Are you sure my lord ? We don't want you to get hurt anyhow. Your father might get angry if he finds about this. " mumbled the head bodyguard.
" C'mon , I am not a kid ! I went to Lord Taehyung's house before. Could he do anything to me ? There seems to be some mere spies loitering around our kingdom. I am sure that no one will find out about this. Just keep quiet and stay here. If anyone asks , just tell them that I went to pee. "
" Umm... Sure my lord. "
Derios started walking towards the direction the fireflies went. They were emitting a heavenly scent. They were the probable spies. Things weren't going smooth at heaven. Lord Andon was planning to take over the throne and his father was doing as much as he could to help him out. Personally , he didn't like Lord Andon. He was one hell of a betrayer. Who knows , if he would put their whole clan under danger if he gets caught ?
He didn't notice that he had reached the bridge while walking. The bridge was the connection between the heaven and hell.
The fireflies were nowhere to be seen. They most probably had gone back after being chased by him.
He chuckled at their cowardly act. Who would dare to fight the son of the chief of the demon clan ? He was about to go back when someone put a piece of cloth on his nose. And the last thing he knew was seeing Lord Taehyung walking towards him before blacking out.
