Chapter 29

Flashback continues :

" Reha listen to me carefully. I will be going for some inspection in the West . I won't be back for a while. " Taehyung said as he took at apple from the basket and started slicing it.

" When are you going ? " questioned Reha looking at him.

It was his first time staying away from her. He usually doesn't go for all these work but due to his future coronation ceremony , he was supposed to carry out  these mandatory duties to prove himself.

" I will gone at dawn tomorrow. I won't return until I am done with every pending work. I don't think it would be done by this week."

"  I don't want to leave you here at all. " he added and glanced at her face.

" No ! You should go and fulfill your duties. I can wait. "

Taehyung pouted and said ," You really don't love me right ? You don't get jealous or clingy. Sometimes I really wonder how you feel about me. "

" I do love you my Lord idiot Taehyung ! I just don't feel those useless emotions . That's it. Jealousy is something I don't like at all. I will get to see you again after a week . So what's the problem ?"

" I hate you ! I am the only one affected by this. How can't you miss me when I would be gone for such a long time ? "

Reha chuckled and pecked his cheeks again. Taehyung looked at her with eyes that might pop and fall down anytime.
She was pecking his cheeks a lot lately .

" Did you just peck me again ?"

" No .... I didn't.... Some random raccoon pecked you infront of me just now. "

" Hey.... Why would raccoon peck me ?"

" Because you are some handsome guy I guess ? It might have taken a fancy in you !"

" Gosh... Sometimes we really do talk non sense. "

" We do . All the time. "

" I was thinking of something. "

" What ? "

" You always tend to surprise me all the time. Without warnings you peck my cheeks . Do you think I am some adorable kid from the market ?"

" Why would you be some random kid ? I love you that's why I peck your cheeks. Do you dislike them by any chance ? Should I stop doing that ?"

"  No that's not the thing. You know.... You own this beautiful lips of mind but you still choose my cheeks over them. I just feel that sometimes my lips should receive your love too. "

Reha chuckled again. Taehyung stared at her laughing whole heartedly.

" Did I say something funny ?"

" No. You didn't. You surely are a baby with honey cheeks and an adorable grin .  I wonder if you didn't grow up all this time.  "

" There you go again. Should I transform into a ferocious man ?" asked Taehyung deepening his voice. His eyebrows furrowed and a slight dangerous grin on his lips.

Reha looked at him in surprise. He was looking intimidating as hell. He had never shown her this side of him.

" What do you mean ?"

" Should I act like a grown up guy from now on ?" he asked and pulled Reha closer to him looking at hers.

Reha was speechless. His cute side was replaced by a dangerous one. She gulped seeing him gazing continuously at her without even blinking.

Taehyung left her and laughed.

" See ! I can change myself in one second. I don't always act like a baby. "

" But how can you change your expressions like that ? Whoa.... I almost had a heart attack. "

Taehyung smirked again licking his lips .

" That's a secret of mine. A talent I guess. Once a criminal peed his pants during interrogation  because I didn't have a grin on my face. Actually I look really scary when I don't have it. People tend to think that I am mad but actually I am not. "

" I can understand how they feel. "

" Do you agree that I am not a baby ? "

" Still can't fully agree. You are originally a cute baby. You do have a dangerous side but don't we all have it ?"

Taehyung scoffed. Reha went back to cutting the fruits . He grabbed her chin and made him look at her once again.

( A/n : Taehyung changed his expressions again. Let me watch you all cry. )

He looked at her lips and smashed his on them. It took some time for Reha to realise what was actually going on. Feeling his urge to make her open her sealed lips , she opened them and kissed him back. It was a passionate one. She slided her fingers into his soft hair and pulled him closer. Taehyung held her waist for support.

After a couple of minutes they broke the kiss and looked at each other. Both were flushed . Taehyung pulled her in his embrace placing his chin on the crook of her neck.
