Taehyung's parents were happy and content too. They were going out on dates but everything was shattered by one person.
Lord Andon.
Reha was sitting in the royal garden feeding the pigeons. The Empress was at the royal court so she was alone waiting for Lord Taehyung to finish his work. She was interrupted by a guy.
" Isn't it Lady Reha ? Greetings from my side. "
She looked at the intruder. Clad in black from head to toe , the guy was smiling at her. He wasn't someone whom she had met before.
" I am . Accept my apology ..... I really don't recognise you...." she mumbled.
" I am Lord Andon .... A close friend of the royal family. My step father is a noble man of the court. "
" Forgive rudeness , my lord. What brings you here ?"
" I am just taking rounds of the royal palace. I happened to stumble upon you. I had a really old desire of meeting up with you. "
" You flatter me. Do take a seat . Lord Taehyung would be here soon. "
" Sure ! First let me introduce you to my step sister . Lady Moara please come here ! Lady Reha is here !" he cried looking at the rose bushes.
Reha didn't notice the lady who was standing there with a sour face before. She slowly walked towards them and bowed introducing herself as Lady Moara.
" It seems like Lord Taehyung is here !" Lord Andon cried.
Reha looked behind to find a frowning Taehyung looking at them.
" Lord Taehyung , we haven't met each other for ages ! Greetings from my side." gushed Lady Moara noticing him .
" What are you two doing here ? Why are you guys talking to her ? " He questioned rudely.
Reha surprised by his behaviour tried to understand why exactly he was doing that. She stared at his annoyed face.
" Why ? Can't we talk to your future wife ? She's going to be our empress after all. It's our duty to greet her as citizens . " Lord Andon tried to tell him politely.
" No. You can't . "
Taehyung turned his back and dragged Reha along with him.
" What's wrong ? Why are you behaving like this Taehyung ?" she cried.
He didn't utter a word and made her get inside the royal carriage which was waiting for them at a distance.
He closed the door and looked at her.
" Don't talk to them. They are not someone with whom you can socialise with. "
" What do you mean ? What's wrong with them ? "
" That Lord Andon has been trying to get my family into problem and strip us off our royalty. In other words he is trying to take over the throne of the fire clan. "
" What about Lady Moara ? "
" That was another pain in the ass. She keeps following me and confesses her feelings almost everyday. " He scoffed making a disgusted face.
Reha laughed seeing his face.
" Why are you laughing ? Aren't you jealous ?"
" Why would I feel jealous over such a mere fact ? She can have feelings. What can I do about that ? "
" Are you serious ? Do you not feel jealous at all ?"
" See... The one you love is me , isn't it ? What's the point of getting jealous then ? I have feelings for you too . We are getting married in a month. Why should I care about her ? She isn't marrying you right ?"
" Unbelievable ! "
" Did you expect me to get jealous ?" she asked .
" No. I didn't. " He mumbled removing his eyes from her and looked outside. She chuckled at him getting mad over this. He was cute. He really was.
Taehyung felt something soft touching his cheeks. Hearing the smooch sound he understood what it really was. His eyes widened and he looked at the blushing Reha.
She really did peck his cheeks.
" Do it again !" He pleaded.
" What ?"
" Do it again. Repeat the thing which you just did on my cheeks."
Without uttering a word she placed her lips on his cheeks and gave him another smooch.
Taehyung found him grinning from ear to ear. He was so much in love with her !
He took her in his embrace and closed his eyes. He finally got the happiness he was secretly wishing for all this years.
Every single thing about her made him excited and cheerful.
