The palace was extraordinary. It felt as if she was in a fairytale or a fantasy book. The walls were painted with a beautiful shade of red . There were pillars , paintings and sculptures on every side. The hallways were dimly lit with lanterns and bulbs. Everything added a mysterious aura to the corridors.
The ceiling was high above. It had scenes of various wars painted on them. Taehyung seemed really happy. He had been out for a long time and every thing was cheering him up. Things had not changed.
He glanced at Reina who was trying to take in everything. Her eyes were full of excitement and enthusiasm. She's still a curious girl even after being reborn.
" Where are we going ?" questioned Reina. She felt as if she would get lost in this palace.
" We would be visiting my younger brother , Jungkook first ."
" He's the one who's serving as the temporary king. Isn't he ?"
" He is..."
They stopped near a door. Reina had to look up to see how large it was. Taehyung knocked on it.
" Come in !" a voice boomed.
He slowly opened the door and gestured Reina to follow her. The room was much Earthly as compared to the others. Her eyes went wide when she noticed a guy wearing a crown sitting on the couch with a glass full of banana milk and watching Iron Man on the television.
" Still a baby , aren't you ?" Taehyung questioned deepening his husky voice.
The guy turned around at once with big doe eyes. He ran towards his direction and hugged him tightly. Both of them had tears in their eyes. The long separation had finally come to an end.
" Hyung.... I have missed you.... I really did...." He sniffed as he buried his face in his hyung's chest.
" How are you Kook? " Taehyung asked as he slowly patted the back of his beloved brother who was a crying mess.
" I was not fine.... I really wasn't.... Why did you leave me with all this job ? It was hard Hyung ! " He complained as he broke the embrace and wiped his reddened eyes.
" I am sorry kiddo ! I am back see !"
Jungkook nodded with a grin. His eyes landed on Reina and his some disappeared. He covered his mouth. He was freaked out.
" Hyung ! Reha .... " He blurted out.
" Chill.... It's her but not her. "
" What do you mean ? What's going on ?"
" She's the reincarnation of her and I happened to fall in love with her again."
" Oh my Namjesus ! " He cried as he plopped down on the couch . He scratched his head and messed up his blonde hair through that process.
" Does she know ? I mean... How.... She entered Nirvana ... I mean...Oh man..." He muttered.
" She knows... I am not myself aware of what is happening too..."
" Hyung... You really are a troublemaker... First it was a servant and now a human being... Do you understand what you are pulling yourself into ?"
" I know... Help me out Kook... I need to convince our parents..."
" I doubt if they would agree... Like... They most probably would get a heart attack after seeing her out of the blue..."
Taehyung sighed. Reina looked at both of them being stressed. She felt bad. Really bad. Had she not popped up like that at the mansion , nothing would have gone wrong.
" Hyung .... Where's the royal ring ? Your finger is empty."
" It's inside my body actually..."
" What ?!?"
" I ate it to protect it from the demons and Lord Andon..."
" I am done with you. I mean... seriously...Urgh...I am trusfrated."
" Umm... Do you mean frustrated ?" Reina chimed in.
Jungkook rolled his eyes and put his palms on his face. Taehyung sat down with a guilty face and made her sit beside him on the bed. Reina prayed mentally for things to go alright.
" Okay ... I will try my best to help you out... First we need to meet up with the emperor and empress. They have been in a really bad mood because of the tricks Lord Andon has been pulling lately. Our clan is in danger too. "
" Don't worry about that... I have the solution in hand..."
" How do you have the solution ? You weren't even here for centuries..."
" I will explain everything later...Let's go meet our parents first."
