Reina was lying on her bed. Her life seemed to be so unstable. Once it gives her more opportunities and then it snatches away everything.
Her promotion was still an unsolved mystery to her. Simon seemed to be giving her glares everytime she bumps into him.
Ok, it was her mistake. She shouldn't have touched the book.
But why didn't the owner say anything?
She stood up. Nothing in her life actually made sense. Was she in a movie , kdrama ,book or a webtoon? If it was she wanted to curse the creator. The whole plot was in a mess. If she's the female lead why she had to suffer so much ? Couldn't it had been a fluffy and cute romance or fantasy?
She went outside. How she loved the garden ! She took a deep breath. The sun was about to set. It looked so beautiful. She was enjoying the beauty of nature after such a long time.
Thud!
There was a loud sound of something which is heavy falling. It was from the mansion. She could hear it from the garden .Probably because she was quite close. She rushed inside.
To her horror, Tae was lying in corridor senseless. She was going to go near but she hesitated. Simon ....she should ask him. If he finds out that she touched him , it would be her last time here.
She rushed towards her quarters. Simon was nowhere to be seen. She looked for him for five minutes and gave up. She needed to help Tae. Even if it ultimately leads her to be get fired .
She tried to pick him up. He was heavy. His beautifully sculpted face showed pain. He was unconscious. She had no choice but to drag him to the nearest room. She somehow put him in the bed.
He needed some water.
She rushed towards the sink to get some water for wiping his face. As soon as she got near to his bed, the bed caught fire.
She screamed. What was happening in this house ?
Tae woke up. He noticed the water.
" Keep it away!" he shouted.
Reina ran towards the kitchen . After throwing away the water, she came back running. There was no sign of fire !
Tae was sitting on the bed.
She stood there speechless. She couldn't understand what was going on.
" I guess you need to know everything now."
" Everything? What do you mean? What do I don't know? What the hell is happening here?"
" I will explain everything.Calm down. "
" How can I calm down....I...I ...just saw that the bed was on fire but there is nothing no....now..." she stuttered. She was panting heavily. Everything seemed to be so unbelievable.
" I am a god. A fire God."
" Are you joking with me right now?"
" No I am not. It might be hard to believe but I am."
" Listen mister. I don't understand a word you are saying . Are you perhaps from a cult?"
" I said listen !" He shouted.
She flinched . His voice was so scary .
" There are gods. I am also one. To be exact I am not a human being. I am from heaven. The next emperor of the fire clan. It's me. Lord Kim Taehyung!"
" Fire god? "
" Do you find it hard to believe?"
" Of course."
" Look at that book. " He pointed towards a book on the table.
" I am looking. "
Suddenly the book caught fire. It rose it the air flying. It's pages fell down one by one burning.
Reina gasped. Her mind was blank.
" Do you believe me now ?"
" I do...."
" It doesn't seem so."
" How do you expect me to believe such a bizzare fact so easily ? I need some time. Moreover what are you doing on Earth?"
" Long story."
