Chapter 36

Taehyung was walking with bare feet on the grass. The tingling feeling made it easier to forget for a moment the confusing and sudden things that were going around him.

He couldn't figure out what exact feelings he was having then. Was it love ? Was it joy ? Was it peace ? Or was it a fear that had crept into his heart ?

Finding Reha back again was something he had wished for all these years. His feeling of guilt was eating him up. He knew that he wasn't capable of loving a person like her but his heart was not listening to him. It did beat really fast around Reina. Why was that ? Was it excitement of having her reincarnation around him ? His heart disobeyed his mind and made him have thoughts of her.

He needed to control them. He failed. And now Reina turned out to be her reincarnation. Until when was he going to deny his feelings ? Those eyes were always making him want her in his arms.

He stared at the blue sky. It was just a few days left for him to depart. He was supposed to go back as he was almost near the ending of his exile. The carriage would be taking him back. There was no reason for him to continue having these feelings for Reina who was nothing but a mortal being.

His parents , brother and friends would be waiting for him. He was also supposed to suppress the upcoming revolt which lord Andon would soon start against him. Then there was Reina's father. He was still missing with no clues about his whereabouts.

"Tae Bear !"

Hearing the call of his best friend ,he turned around to find a smiling Jimin looking at him with Reina standing behind him.

" Jimin !" Tae exclaimed as he advanced to hug him.

Jimin hugged him back tightly.

" Jimin... I missed you...."

" Goddamn... You never even contacted me throughout these years... How could you ? Why ?!?"

" I... I am sorry... My Jimin fool... I just didn't want to bother you all. "

Taehyung sniffed.

Jimin patted his head lightly as he held back tears. He was still the same. Hiding back his feelings and problems which were eating him up.

" Why are you here all of a sudden ?"

" I wanted to meet you... Moreover Jin Hyung suddenly disappeared while eating. I was worried so I followed him. "

Taehyung broke the hug and smiled. His boxy shaped smile melted Reina who was standing beside them. It was really rare to find him happy. He didn't open up much to people.

" Did you really eat your family heirloom? That ring ?" Jimin questioned.

" I did. Lord Andon had sent some bastards to steal it from me. I needed to protect it. "

" Those assholes... Is it still inside you ?"

" It is. I am not planning to take it out anytime sooner. I need to put them in hell first. "

" Sure... You are going back in a week ,right ? I am looking forward to it . Jungkook misses you a lot. That little boy is playing a really good role of an emperor. "

" He's such a talented kid... " Taehyung again displayed his teeth as he closed his eyes to remember his brother whom he hadn't met for decades.

Jimin stopped and sniffed suspiciously.

" Tae .... I smell something...."

" What do you mean ?"

" It's something... Umm... What should I say ? A burning smell.... Ah .... It's from both of you..." Jimin chimed as he looked at Tae and Reina alternatively.

" Burning smell ?"

" Hey... Now... You guys like each other. Am I right ? Reina has caught some  feelings recently. And let's not start about my Tae Bear. "

"Ji- Jimin..." Taehyung stuttered.

Reina turned into a red tomato. She had been ignoring the things she was feeling about his boss for a few days but she has been exposed by the great love God Jimin. She turned her back and ran away to avoid further embarrassment. Taehyung put his palms on his face.

" Jimin... Why did you do that ? I wasn't going to mess things up !"

" Relax Tae... It's time to move on from the past now. She's such a sweetheart. She might be a reincarnation but I guarantee you that you don't like her only for being Reha's reincarnation. She's much more better than Reha herself. Don't pressurize yourself like that. I know that you will succeed. You can do it !"

" How am I supposed to confess ? Do you think I deserve her after all I have done ? I had been nothing but a bastard. How can I take her ! I am not someone good enough for her. "

" I asked you not to get stuck with the past incidents. Everything has a new beginning. Moreover she's Reina. Not Reha. Reincarnations take place on Earth everyday. Do you think the system of love would work out if you only think of something as useless as that ? Follow your heart and make her yours. I will be going then. The choice is yours. It wasn't your fault anyway."

Jimin closed his eyes and vanished leaving behind some red heart beads.
