Chapter 15

Flashback to Taehyung's life before exile

"Lord Taehyung ,we are running late for the meeting ."

"Coming. Go . "

Taehyung sighed.

His life seemed to be so boring. Nothing amused him. He had no one to cherish rather than his brother Jungkook.

That little kid was really focused on his body. Doing push ups was his hobby. Girls would flock to see him at the market.

He never cared about his royal image .

His polar opposite.

He would become the emperor.

It was the flower Kingdom. Flowers were blooming everywhere. Chrysanthemum ,Hibiscus, orchids , lilies ,tulips was everywhere. His meeting with the flower queen was supposed to be within an hour.

Wearing a normal robe ,he was walking in the garden. Staying at the palace was perhaps a good idea. The flowers seemed to brighten him up after a long time.

Suddenly he heard a rustle nearby.

He moved towards the source of the sound.

He was astounded.

A young maiden was sitting on the grass bare feet and making a floral tiara with some roses. Her beauty was beyond definition.

He was spell bound. The dew drops of the early morning was visible on her lips. Probably the roses somehow transferred it to her rosy lips.

She looked up .

"Ah. Hello. Are you one of the king's servant? Please help me out! I have to make some floral decorations for his welcoming ceremony."

" Oh sure!" Taehyung found himself saying.

He sat down with her and started helping her.

He occasionally glanced at her while she kept ranting about how she loved her kingdom and flowers.

Taehyung kept listening. The girl had some special effect on him. Her hair kept disturbing her by brushing against her cheeks.

He couldn't help himself and tucked the hair behind her ear.

She blushed.

It was a dark shade of beetroot.

" Thank you for your help." She bowed and rushed towards the palace after she was done with everything.

Taehyung smirked. He wanted to see her again.

He went to the meeting where he was five minutes late. It was really unlike him. The most punctual man in heaven was late.

His thoughts was full of her smiles and chitchat.

"My lord, is something funny?"the queen enquired as she found him smiling slightly.

" Ah? No. Nothing. Sorry for bothering ."

It was finally the time for the floral welcoming ceremony. And to his joy , Taehyung found the girl coming with the tray full of floral decorations they made earlier.

And her face became pale after she saw him . Her hands were trembling .

She didn't expect him to be the king.

She somehow managed to put the tiara on his head while Taehyung had his boxy smile on display.

After the ceremony ended he rushed towards the garden where the girl had ran to hide.

Her flushed cheeks during the ceremony made him chuckle while listening to the queen's speech.

For the first time, his attention was focused only on someone .

He found her weeping.

She was scared of punishment.

He went and embraced her.

She broke the hug and apologised.

"I am really sorry your majesty. I didn't know that you were..."

" Hush"

Taehyung kept a finger on her lips.

" I want to be friends with you. You were the first one to treat me as a normal male . You didn't know that I was the king."

" What? I can't...I would be punished. "

" Don't worry. No one would know. "

And Taehyung didn't realise that he had already fallen in love with her. He didn't notice the  thumping of his heart .

Love at first sight.

Little did they know that someone was observing the whole scene.

And this would be their life's disaster. Ruining them completely . This event marked the beginning of that.
