Ingrediants:
100g (4 oz) margarine
75g (3 oz) soft light brown sugar
175g (6 oz) self raising flour
100g (4 oz) chocolate chips
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 tablespoons milk
Method:
First heat your oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease 1 to 2 baking trays.
Then beat the margarine until soft, and then add the sugar, and cream together until light and fluffy.
Then stir in the flour, chocolate chips, syrup and milk and mix well, till it becomes like a dough like form. (I find it easier to use my hands after I've mixed all the flour in the mix.)
Last of all place spoonfuls of the mixture on the prepared trays and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Once cooked remove them from tray immediately and place them on a wire rack to cool (or a plate, but wire rack is better).
Tip:
If the mixture is too sticky mix in some more flour until dough like again.
Add a bit of vanilla extract to the mix for extra yumminess.
