Fashion:
- Bodysuits.
If we're going to be honest here, I was a bit late to the trend. I owned two bodysuits which I bought in like 2012/3 when I was into skater skirts and beanies (bad times, bad times) and I wore them like twice before I became to self conscious to wear them again. And then when I started college, there were loads of girls wearing them and I have reached a weight that I am somewhat happy with so I decided, hey why not try wearing the bodysuits again and viola! i loved them.
- Chelsea Boots.
These boots have been a fucking lifesaver for me. I bought mine from new look at the end of September because I needed some sensible boots to walk to and from my bus stop in and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They have been perfect for all the times I have had to run to catch my bus and its a bloody miracle that I haven't broken them yet (me and boots don't have a very good track record :/)
- Burgundy Bomber Jacket
Again, this is from New Look (theres not many affordable shops where I live, I'm sorry) and its made of a satin material which isn't very practical in the rain, but its so comfy. My college has a no coats rule and this has been the perfect alternative since its lightweight but surprisingly warm.
Makeup:
- NYX Tame and Frame tinted brow pomade.
For a girl like me who is naturally blonde and therefore has zero eyebrows, I was in desperate need to find a decent brow product in my colour. I tried using the maybelline one with the pencil one end and the sponge the other but I found that it didn't last too long given the price I had paid for it, so I went on the hunt again. I was in boots one day and saw this. One of friends had been raving about how good her eyebrow pomade was but I didn't want to splash out on the anatacia one, so I decided to try this and it is AMAZING. Its long lasting and is so easy to apply and it only cost me £5 ish.
- MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer
This was another recommendation from a friend who made me try this product at work once and it was lifechanging. It is the perfect liquid matte lipstick and it doesn't budge for hours. The only downside is you have to reapply after eating and drinking but you have to do that for normal lipsticks anyway. They cost £3 each and my favorite shades are Dash and Tranquility.
- Superdrug Intense Volume False Eyelashes Edition 30.
I'll admit that I'm not much of a false eyelash user but I was going to a big halloween party so decided to buy some. These eyelashes provided the perfect natural but fake look to them and the glue they came with kept the eyelashes stuck on for 7+ hours which I was very proud of after witnessing many people spending the whole night of prom reglueing false eyelashes :/
Music:
- Lorde Pure Heroine Extended Edition.
Okay so this album came out years ago but I only heard it for the first time this month and fell in LOVE with it ♥♥♥ Its the perfect relaxing album and I like to listen to it whilst doing homework to help me concentrate.
- Shoutout to My Ex by Little Mix
I loved the song Ugly Heart by G.R.L when it first came out so when Little Mix performed this song on the X Factor I was so excited. The chorus and everything about it is so fun and it just makes we want to dance.
Other:
- Adult Colouring.
Yet again I am late on the bandwagon. I've had a colouring book since last christmas but only recently bought pens and pencils to colour in with and I'm obsessed. Its so relaxing and it keeps me entertained which is good because I usually make stupid decision when I'm bored.
- Cookie Dough Kit Kats
I bought one of these a few weeks ago whilst craving chocolate at college and omg they taste so good. I went back the next day to buy more and found out they'd sold out :(
- Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
A few girl mates and I decided to have a night out and went to the cinema to watch this. This is one of the weirdest films I've ever seen but I came out wanting to watch it again. I wouldn't say its the best Tim Burton movie out there but its a good film to watch on a rainy day.
