Three years later
Jungkook grunted playfully with a cheeky grin. Cupping his own face, he leaned forward to close the distance with the fangirl separated by the table before him.
The girl squealed.
"Aren't I a little too old for you to call me oppa?" Jungkook teased the middle schooler.
Instantly, the girl shook her head. "All handsome guys are always oppas. It's an unspoken rule."
Jimin who was next to Jungkook let out a laugh at her words. As she moved on towards him after retrieving back the signed album from the youngest of the group, Jimin rested his cheek on a hand while eyeing her with a mischievous smile.
Poor girl was about to pass out.
After being on hiatus as a group from the public for almost three years, the boy group had finally released a brand new album while working endlessly behind the scenes and completing their military services. They were worried at first, scared that there would be less fans this time round since it wasn't a new occurrence for fans to stop liking them during a long break.
The boys clearly underestimated their fans' loyalty. They were in for a surprise when their album sales skyrocketed even much more than the previous comeback.
Having a comeback meant having fan meetings, and the members were currently interacting with the lucky fans who had managed to get the tickets to meet their idols after a long time. They personally requested to their company to spend more time with each of the fans, wanting to genuinely take their time chatting with their fans.
"Oppa, my mum told me to give this to you." A fan passed a small container towards Seokjin who had raised his eyebrows.
Inspecting the container, he spoke. "What's this?"
"It's a scar-fading cream." The girl beamed, and Seokjin's heart warmed at the sincerity in her tone. "When my mum found out that I'm going to attend this fan meet, she asked me to pass this to you immediately. It's pretty good!"
"Thank you so much." Seokjin high-fived the fan. "But wanna know something?"
"What is it?"
Seokjin flexed his arm which had a long pinkish scar carved onto it. "This is a battle scar I'm really proud of. It's like a reminder to myself that I'm a survivor."
Namjoon who was next to Seokjin nodded in agreement. "Remember that okay?"
"Wow. You're amazing, oppa." The fan nodded as she teared up slightly, and they exchanged goodbyes and thank yous before moving on to the last member which was Hoseok.
Seated on the other side of the long table was Taehyung, and he was busy posing for his fansites seated below when the next A.R.M.Y. approached him. Instinctively, he picked up his pen and put on a smile to greet whoever they were.
However, his eyes widened and the pen fell out of his grasp, causing the object to drop onto the ground. Yoongi who was seated next to him furrowed his eyebrows when the pen hit his leg while falling, and he was about to bend over to pick it up when he saw what had put Taehyung into a petrified state.
"Oppa!"
The two stared in horror at the little girl now standing on a platform the staff provided for her.
Same round eyes, same button nose, same pair of lips. Hell, she even had the exact same hairstyle as the mini version of the vengeful spirit they knew very well photographed in a certain family portrait which had been haunting all seven of them for years.
"H-hyung... please tell me I'm dreaming." Taehyung whispered, and Yoongi was about to reply when another voice interrupted him.
"Aeri-ah!"
It took only the hollering of the name for all seven of the members to whip their heads towards the source. Almost immediately, their faces turned ghastly pale at the sight of an overly-excited girl running all across the stage to look at all of them.
"Eomma! These oppas are so handsome." Little Aeri giggled when her mother who was apologizing nonstop picked her up. "I want something, eomma."
"What is it?" Her mother played along while returning back to where Taehyung was.
Little Aeri smiled.
"I want to keep these oppas. All to myself. Forever."
