FOUR BOYS, ONE GIRL AND 1 CRAZY HIGH SCHOOL YEAR

CHAPTER 37

This chapter is dedicated to @K4RKL1C1OUS 'cause her comment on the last chapter made me cry for joy! For you and your friend :)

It was two and a half days. We so didn't stay in New York for two days as Easy promised. And now I was freaking my pants off—I mean what if the school found out that we were, not in fact, meditating in our room? What was going to happen? Oh My God what if they called my mom?! Ah, Siberia...? I was way too young to die.

I was currently pacing around the hospital room like a crazy lady. Josie had fallen asleep after we'd stayed up and talked about stuff – mainly badmouthing her parents and Easy – and endless rubbish. Easy hadn't come back from wherever he'd gone too and I was starting to get worried; when was he going to bring my food?

The door made a soft click and my eyes shot up. A nurse walked in with a soft smile. "I just want to check on the patient."

I nodded and moved out of the way. "Yeah,"

"Did she take any pills?"

Uh me? "No, actually."

The lady nodded and moved over to adjust some of the machines beside Josie's body. "Has she been complaining about pains or has she been acting off about anything?"

"Uh... nope,"

"Okay, are you the guardian?" she was facing me now.

"Actually no. Again." I told her meekly. "He just stepped out for a minute, he should be back any –" the sound of the door shutting caught me off.

Easy walked in, looking very scattered and tired. Well speak of the sexy devil. "There he is,"

The woman muttered a short 'thanks' before she and Easy stepped to the corner of the room and started talking in hushed whispers. I bit my lip and flopped onto the chair; casting a side glance at Josie.

I couldn't help the small smile that formed onto my lips; she looked so peaceful. Like she hadn't even just been in a near-death accident, or that her parents are somewhere lounging their selfish asses off and couldn't give two shits about whether she could be dying or not. Like she was happy about where she was and what she had; and that made me smile. The strength of the fifteen year old was impressive and I couldn't help but respect her for it.

Easy's deep voice made me look up. "You're looking at my sister like she's your wife or something."

I looked up to see a smirk planted on his lips. Resisting the urge to stare or say something along the lines of; "you have beautiful lips", I scoffed. "I'm just worried about her dunzo,"

He ran a hand through his hair, tousling it more than it already was. "Yeah, I know. We all are."

He walked forward and pushed me out of the chair—causing me to nearly fall flat on my face. Asshole. I was going to insult his guts when he did something that baffled me more than the time my Nana thought purple hair and sparkly sweat-suits were 'fancy'. Easy pulled me up and placed me in his lap, placing his hands on my sides and his head on my arm.

God I swear I was going to explode. I cleared my throat awkwardly, hoping he won't see how much he was affecting me or anything.

"We're leaving tonight; you know that right?" he said out of the blue; his hot breath fanning across my skin and making me want to die of bliss.

"Um... Easy? What're you doing?"

"What? I said we're leaving tonight. What part of that don't you understand?"
