FOUR BOYS, ONE GIRL AND 1 CRAZY HIGH SCHOOL YEAR

CHAPTER 19

This was happening; it wasn't a dream – not that I'd ever dream about that psh, – but Easy was kissing me right now. My eyes were wide open and all I could do was stare wide-eyed at the dark headed boy whose lips were locked with mine. I didn't know if I was standing still or kissing back; all I knew was that Easy Walsh was kissing me and he was making it look as hell believable.

Twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four... I counted in my head. How long was I holding my breath?

Easy finally pulled away – with what I think was to gasp for air. His eyes widened and he stared at me looking just as dazed as I was. His lips, now plump and pink was slightly parted and he was breathing heavily. He regained his posture and turned to his parents – who, might I add, where shocked to the core by the whole scenario.

"And that's what I'm trying to say." He mumbled to his parents before pulling me out of the room.

He stopped in the middle of the hallway and paced back and forth, running a hand through his hair and fumbling with his tie. I wasn't any different, my breathing was still shaky and I tried to look anywhere that wasn't Easy.

We stood there for what was like thirty minutes just gathering whatever we were gathering. And it was so damn awkward.

"You," Easy finally spoke up, breaking the silence and pointing a finger at me. "This is your fault!"

"What?" I breathed out. Normally, I would argue or scream at him for accusing me. But I clearly wasn't myself since I was getting affected by – dare I say it – Easy Walsh.

"You did this. All this is because of you."

What the hell was he talking about? "What is that supposed to mean?"

"Y-you—me—them." He blabbed and pointed rapidly in different directions. "Everything is all you... your fault! You!" He screamed before walking away.

"Huh?"

...

If you thought sitting in that dining room was silent and awkward, then you haven't sat in a taxi with a guy you loathe and had just kissed. For some reason, he was awfully quiet and all he did was stare out the window. I had never been in such an awkward situation.

"Easy?" I called when we stood in front of Waverly.

"Hm?" He mumbled, distracted.

"Don't you think we should talk?"

He turned to me abruptly. "Why? About what?"

Why was he so worked up? "You know, about today."

"I'd love to talk about it but I have to – to uh, go do home work." And with that, he walked—no ran away.

"Hey!"

Well, so much for asking about my payment.

I changed to 'boy mode' and walked to my dorm – still gloating that I hadn't gotten my payment. I saw Liam talking to a blonde dude that looked insanely familiar.

"Hey Liam," I called.

He waved for me to come over. "Hey Carl, where have you been all day?"

"I went places," I said, my focus on the other boy. He was also staring at me, inspecting me seriously. Where had I seen this dude?
