TWO WEEKS LATER
I poked my head out the door, grinning as the twelfth grade dorm block was filled with boys running up and down as they packed their things. It was rowdy and balls, clothes and skis – I wonder how that's going to fit in the plane – were flying around. I was going to Europe! Another continent! This was exciting; Rachel was going to be extremely jealous.
"What the hell are you doing freshman? Let's pack up this stuff and clear the room." Easy screamed at me from the inside the room.
I put my head back in the room. Our room wasn't different from the hallway, suitcases were open all around and they were clothes everywhere. Kind of reminded me of Ethan and Rori's room.
"I'm done, these are all your stuff." I plopped down on my bed. I had ditched all my girl stuff and my boy clothes weren't many; seeing as I won't use them once I graduate.
"Can I put some of my stuff in your suitcase?" Easy asked, pacing around the room and throwing stuff into the suitcase. "Everything's not fitting into mine."
"Of course it wouldn't, when all you do is fill it with books." I scrunched up my nose.
"Well I need to keep myself company," he turned towards me. "We're going halfway around the world."
"That's why we have iPods in the real world."
"I prefer books to music." He said obviously.
"And that's why you're a weird guy," I retorted in a sing-song voice.
He only just shook his head at me and continued packing. I glanced at my suitcase, it looked really empty and I hadn't even gotten a swimsuit – you know in case we happened to go to the beach or something. Wait... I won't be able to swim would I?
I stood up and went out the door, a pile of clothes flew past me and I dodged, shielding my head for safety.
"No walking in the hallways after curfew!" Roland stood in the hallways shouting at people who weren't listening to him.
"And no wearing short shorts when you're nineteen!" Someone retorted from the other room. I snorted, Roland was wearing really short shorts and it wasn't a good sight, trust me.
"And where are you going Vernon?" He narrowed his eyes at me through his thick glasses.
"To Ethan's room." I stated, unfazed by his glare.
"Didn't you just hear what I just said?" He asked, his veins popping out of his forehead – wow.
"I'm sorry, I didn't." I shrugged innocently. "Would you repeat?"
"I said, no walking through the hallways after curfew," he repeated again. Apparently he didn't get that I really could care less.
I glanced around the hallways, seeing the boys chatting and throwing different stuffs around. The hallway light was even still on. I turned back to him and raised a brow. "Just go back to sleep Roland, you need to save all that roaring for tomorrow, 'cause no one's listening." I patted him on the shoulder and brushed past him.
"Wait—what?" He stuttered.
I ran into the other hall before he could get me. I opened the door and my eyes widened, no they weren't making out, their room was just a big ball of clothes. Damn I should have brought my suitcase.
