FOUR BOYS, ONE GIRL AND 1 CRAZY HIGH SCHOOL YEAR

CHAPTER 5

This chapter is dedicated to @mrsmars123

Going to school at Waverly hadn't been as horrible as I'd thought when I'd first got here. I mean I'd managed to make friends – well, I mean two can be considered as friends. Ethan and Rori, even when I'd bluntly blown them off constantly just wouldn't let me go off... and let me tell you, if you didn't already know, trying to obstruct two determined boys like Ethan and Rori, was harder than twelfth grade calculus.

But even with that, I also couldn't say I hated them... I honestly think they were they were the ones that helped me get this far without freaking. When they'd said they'd helped me, that's exactly what they'd done, and I'd learned to love them to pieces.

But as usual, along with good things came bad... and someone interrupting my beauty sleep had been one of the first ones to come.

"Freshman, hey freshman wake up." I groaned softly at the person shaking me swiftly.

"Go away mom, school's in two hours," I managed to mumble.

"What?! Who's your mom? Just get the hell up before I get punished 'cause of you." I fluttered my eyes open to a pair of dark ones. What was with Easy and disturbing my sleeping sessions? I mean a girl needs her beauty sleep. But then again I wasn't a girl was I?

"Let's go, the hot water will soon run out." I stopped in my tracks when I heard what he had said. Normally, I'll wake up before Easy and the rest of the dorm to shower, but since I was up all night listening to Ethan and Rori's definition of 'hot', I slept in late.

"Um, I think I'll shower later. I don't care if the water's cold or not." I grinned stupidly, trying to weave my way out of the suggestion.

"Why? Everyone showers now. In the next thirty minutes the dorms will be closed." Easy explained, looking impatient.

"Aw, thanks for your concern Easy." And really I was flattered that he actually cared about my welfare. "But I think I can be fine on my own."

"Oh no, I don't care what happens to you, I just don't want to be dragged into your case you know being your 'roommate' and all." And we're back to Mr. conceited everybody.

I faked a smile, ignoring his comment and went back to sleep. I could feel his eyes boring holes into my back and I knew he was still watching me.

"Whatever, but if you get into trouble, I am not your roommate." He mumbled before leaving the room. Silence at last.

Ten minutes after Easy had left me with the room to myself, my eyes fluttered open lazily, ready to wake up only pausing when I nearly collapsed at what I saw. Easy was standing with his back facing me and he was freaking shirtless. I could see trickles of water on his back and his wet black hair. Oh My Jesus! It took all my willpower not to blackout at that moment. This boy truly was hot and even I couldn't deny that. I panicked when he turned around slowly. I quickly shut my eyes and pretended to go back to sleep. I heard him mumble a few cuss words at me and could feel him walking towards me. I could feel his warmth when he reached me, and next thing I knew, he was shaking me. Too scared to open my eyes, I opted for plan B; I stood up with my eyes closed and ran out awkwardly from the room.

...

Getting used to my Waverly school uniform, which consisted of a pair of plain black trousers, long sleeved white t-shirts with the school badge and your initials on the breast pocket, black blazers and a striped black and blue tie, had been pretty easy. I mean it wasn't hard to considering the outfit was cute and made me look completely manly. The only problem I had however, was the fact that it was extremely uncomfortable, it was in all the wrong places and the tie was way too tight... ugh!

I could see somebody running towards me with a big smile. Wait I knew this guy, it was the principal's son. What was his name again? Larry? Landon? Lizbel? Lecher? Okay now I was just saying trash.

"Hey Carl," he grinned, in a very handsome way I might add. "Remember me?"

Wait I got it... Liam, his name was Liam. "Of course I do, I mean I practically almost knocked you out on my first day of school." I joked, which he caught on and chuckled slightly.

"So, how do you like the school? I heard your rooming with Easy, he's pretty difficult. Coping well?" He asked with a tone of concern.

I liked this guy, he was nice and unlike roommate Easy, he actually cared. "Nah, it's nothing I can't handle. I mean I'm from Denver right?" Damn how did being from Denver help? Liam – thankfully having a sense of humour – chuckled again and ruffled my wig—I mean hair.

"Okay, but if you need anything, someone to kick his ass or something, you know where I..." he trailed off when something caught his eye. I looked in that direction and saw a blonde girl about my age waving at us. I didn't know who she was or where she came from but she'd definitely caught Liam's attention.

"Um, I can see your busy now so I'll see you later?" I said waving to him.

"Yeah, bye Carl." He replied, still distracted.

...

GYM! I loathe, abhor gym. I hated it when I'm a girl and it definitely made no difference when I was a guy. Worst of all, we were playing soccer and I'd just had to be the goalkeeper. And let me just inform you, that is the worst position, especially when you knew nothing about catching a ball.

"AH!" I screamed as I dodged the ball causing it to go into the net. The other team ran in joy in victory while I rubbed my arms in hurt.

"Damn it Carl, stop being a girl and get the damn ball!" Some buffy guy on my team screamed at me. I could see Liam giving me an encouraging smile, yeah he should know; his team was winning. Ethan and Rori were also cheering me from the bleachers... ah I adore those boys.

We played for the next four hours and I was hurting all over. My butt, my arms and my ears hurt from screaming and falling down countless times. My team lost (like that was a surprise) with 30-12 and I got scolded by my teammates. Sorry guys, I just don't do soccer.

"Hey looser, you gotta go shower." Easy said, smirking mockingly at me. Yeah did I also mention Easy was on the 'wining team'? Yay.

"No thanks," I spat back still rubbing my arm.

"Why not? You know you're not sleeping in our room like that right?" He asked with a look of disgust.

"No I'm not, I'll just shower later."

"Why can't you shower now? Everyone showers now." Easy asked suspiciously. What was with this guy and the questions? I mean he'd been getting too suspicious lately and getting out of each and every one of his prying questions, was getting harder every time.

"Um... maybe I just like my privacy." He looked at me for seconds; I could tell his brain was calculating what I just said.

"I don't get you, first I find a bra in our dorm and then you offer to throw it out, then you refuse to shower with the rest of the boys and refuse to show some skin during soccer practice and now you're doing it again." He said inspecting me, suspicion all over his eyes. Oh gosh I hope he hadn't found out too.

"There's nothing to worry about Easy, I'm just weird I guess." I chuckled nervously. He still kept looking at me, and for a second I thought he was going to force me to shower or something.

"Whatever," he muttered before walking away. I let out a breath of relief I didn't even know I was holding. That was freaking close.

I walked into the shower fifteen minutes later when all the boys had gone back to dorm. I was reeking and I couldn't wait to get into the shower. I was too busy trying to get my binding off I didn't hear someone enter the locker room.

"Aha!" Easy shouted when he saw me, he paused and took two more looks at me. "Aha..." he said more slowly with an evil smirk. Damn I was in for it.
