little: jaemin
caregiver: dream
"minnie did it!" jaemin squealed happily, finally being able to get his block tower to stand up. the blonde haired little had been playing for a good two hours, going through his entire toy box and playing with everything he could find. he looked around the living room and saw the mess that had accumulated on the floor.
he pouted and crawled over to his cars that were scattered in front of the couch and started to pick them up. cleaning was no fun though. he just wanted to play instead. how none of his caregivers noticed the mess while they were in the kitchen making lunch? great question.
jaemin sat in the middle of all the toys and just stared at them in hopes of them magically putting themselves away.
the little got frustrated very easily and small things, such as big messes, were sometimes enough to push him over the edge. he hit his hands against his blanket that he had laid out on the floor and let out a frustrated cry.
his caregivers hurried over to their little, eyes widening when they realize how big the mess was. jaemin was deep in his headspace now and was really struggling to tell them why he was upset.
"hey, baby take a deep breath, it's okay. take your time." jeno said, crouching down to jaemins level.
the little harshly rubbed his eyes, jeno grabbing the boys hands gently so he didn't hurt himself.
poor jaemin was so frustrated with himself.
"m-make m-mess! minnie m-make mess!" he put himself into jenos arms, the older standing up with the boy in his arms.
"baby~ are you feeling too little to clean it up? is that what's making you so upset?" the boys smiled when jaemin nodded shyly.
"alright. how about this. we'll help you clean your toys up and then we'll get some lunch and we can cuddle. does that sound good?" he asked as he rocked the boy back and forth slowly.
jaemin nodded again and was set down, him and his caregivers going to work on cleaning up the room.
it really wasn't that big of a deal, but to jaemin, he had made a huge mess that he thought he would've gotten in trouble for.
once they finished picking everything up, jaemin went over to hyuck who handed him his blanket and picked him up.
"does my little angle want cuddles now?" the older asked.
jaemin nodded and smiled as hyuck sat down on the couch and put the little against his chest. renjun brought them each a sandwich, jaemin thanking his caregiver.
after they finished their lunch, hyuck turned jaemin around so he was facing him and slipped a light blue paci into his mouth. the little didn't want to take a nap but he was very tired from playing all morning so he cuddled up with his blanket and bunny in hyucks arms and drifted to sleep.
