"xuxi w-wan stay wif dada...n-no weave.." lucas said quietly as he buried his face into johnnys chest.
johnny frowned and gently pulled the littles head away from his chest so he could see his face.
"what's going on baby? you seem like you've been feeling down all day."
lucas just nodded and looked away from his caregiver.
"no wan go t-to studio wi'out dada.." he said as tears fell from his eyes.
it was clear to johnny that his baby was feeling anxious and needed lots of cuddles to cheer him up.
the older nodded and sat down on the couch with lucas on his lap, the little clinging onto him.
"i want you to try to relax baby. dada's here. i'm going with you to the studio later so i don't want you to be worried about that. i'll be there i promise." he said reassuringly.
"xuxi feew v-vewy wittle.."
he looked up at johnny with innocent eyes.
the older smiled and stood up and carried lucas into his room. he grabbed the boys blanket and paci before heading back to the living room.
johnny slipped the pacifier into lucas' mouth and handed him his blanket, the little holding onto it tightly.
the two of them stayed there for a good hour and a half before they had to get ready to go, johnny waking lucas up who had fallen asleep.
"baby~ we need to go. let's go get your shoes on." he said quietly as he stood up.
he helped lucas get his shoes on and got his on as well and they made their way over to the studio.
lucas felt so much better. having johnny as a caregiver was the best thing that happened to him. he just made everything so much better.
