johnny had tears rolling down his cheeks as he sat in bed looking at all the hate comments he had gotten on one of his videos of him dancing.
he had worked so hard on that video only to have people hate on him for it. he was upset, to say the least.
after calming himself down, he got under the covers and tried to go to sleep.
he laid there in silence for a few minutes before checking the time. he found that it was almost 11 pm and all his members were already in their rooms for the night.
johnny got out of bed and put a sweatshirt on, deciding to go to the studio and practice some more.
going to the studio after hours a couple times wasn't really a big deal...but johnny started going every night and not getting back until almost 4 am every day. he was exhausted but he let all the hate comments get to him and now he was convinced that he needed to get better at everything.
this continued for a couple weeks before jaehyun and taeyong eventually noticed the older always leaving late at night.
the two of them made their way to johnnys room and sat down on his bed, the older looking up when they walked in.
"johnny..we need to talk about some things." taeyong said.
johnny felt his stomach drop. he knew what they wanted to talk about. they were going to ask him why he had been spending so much time at the studio lately and why he hasn't been letting himself slip. he knew exactly what was coming.
"i'm okay..everything is fine..i-" he was cut off by the leader who pulled the boys cat stuffie out from under his bed.
"everything is not fine. something is bothering you. you can tell us, we won't get mad. i promise." jaehyun said softly as taeyong sat back down.
"here. hold onto your kitty and try to relax." the leader said. they were doing anything they could to help johnny slip.
johnny froze as he took the soft toy into his hand.
he wanted so badly to just cuddle up with his caregivers and stuffie and just relax but he couldn't.
johnny absolutely adored that cat. he found so much comfort in it. he got it from his parents when he was a little kid. now, he would carry it around with him everywhere when he was in his headspace.
he hummed quietly as he held his comfort item against his chest.
taeyong and jaehyun smiled as they looked at the little who was now fully in little space.
"you're adorable sweetheart. should we go cuddle and watch a movie? will that help our little angel feel better?" jaehyun asked, johnny nodding happily.
the three of them sat down and cuddled up with each other, johnny putting himself between his caregivers to make sure they both got an even amount of cuddles.
"nini all better.." he mumbled as he drifted off to sleep.
the caregivers just sat there and admired the sleeping boy in their arms. they felt so lucky to have such a sweet little like johnny. he meant the world to them.
