chenle was never able see the wayv boys as much as he would like outside of promotions and other schedules. it was hard to be away from his caregivers for this long. he needed to slip and he needed it to be with them but there were always cameras around them so he was never able to.
its no secret that all the boys were relieved when the nct2020 promotions were over. they had such a great time and loved every second of it but it was exhausting.
they finally had a week off, wayv taking this opportunity to spend a few days with their little. chenle was sitting on his bedroom floor with renjun who was helping him pack his bag. The boy watched as renjun folded some clothes and added them to the bag but he wasn't satisfied with what was being packed.
he stood up and waddled over to a basket that sat in the corner of his room and went through it until he found his favorite dolphin stuffed animal that he always carried around when he leaves the dorm. he picked it up and giggled softly before going back to where renjun was and putting it down next to the bag, the older putting said dolphin in the bag.
"alright baby. you're all set." he said, the little smiling and standing back up.
"lele go see dada!" the boy said, putting himself into the olders arms.
before renjun could respond, there was a knock on the door. chenle ran out of his room and straight into kuns arms, the older lifting his baby into his arms and taking his bag from renjun.
"hihi dada! lele missed you!"
kun placed a few kisses on the boys forehead and rocked him back and forth slowly as he talked to jeno.
after a few minutes passed, chenle was asleep in kuns arms, the older deciding they should get going.
they left the dream dorm and made their way back to the wayv dorm, the other members cooing when they saw their baby asleep in their leaders arms.
"he's just so cute. i might die." lucas said, wiping fake tears from his eyes.
ten slapped lucas's shoulder and shook his head.
chenle, who woke up from all the chaos, giggled and made grabby hands towards lucas who took him into his hold.
they were just glad to finally be able to spend time with him again. he was their baby and they loved him so much.
