"I still can't believe you heard me." I said to Sylvia, she held me in a tight hug.

"I know, I was heading back to the pack after I finished warrior training." Sylvia said, I smiled widely at her.

"You found us at the right time, I have so many things I must do—but seeing my babies is the most important." I said, Sylvia smiled.

Hades had been silent, his eyes darting around in confusion and loss. I knew he didn't remember anything, it broke my heart knowing only a fraction of himself was still here—what did he remember? What memories did he have inside his head that were so far from reality or so drastically different from what we experienced.

I had tried my best to fill him in to the people who stood before him, yet he just stared at him—he didn't even remember Lucifer, the cousin he had fought so much with. He didn't remember any of it, I felt my heart clench—I had spent so much time begging for a mate and I got one. We had so little time together, time went by too quickly and our experiences were muddled.

When I saw Mason's pack, I felt a wave of emotions come over me—this was what I wanted. I decided that I couldn't just be the goddess of the underworld, with my evolvation I had new knowledge about how I could live within the human realm and still be the queen of the underworld.

"This is our home? It's not how I remember, but I don't even think I can trust my memories anymore." Hades spoke, he looked broken—hurt.

"Our home wasn't here Hades, but a place you no longer can enter without slowly dying." I spoke to him, he frowned—I heard giggles and my heart swelled.

Two little bundles of beauty came waddling my way, oh god—they already learned how to walk! I have missed so much of their growth, they could see—they could see their mom now. I felt hot tears stream down my face as they came barreling towards me—Alina knew immediately who I was when she hugged me, Egon still wore the grumpy expression he had always had. Their growth had been unimaginable—little hybrid babies already big enough to resemble 2 year old humans.
