I woke up with a start, I felt this overwhelming fear come over me—a song playing in my head that sent shivers down my spine and made eyes water as I tried to adjust to my surroundings.
Once my eyes adjusted, I had to bite back a scream—my eyes watered in absolute fear as I noticed the dead bodies surrounding me. It wasn't just the overwhelming smell of dead carcasses but the fact each body was in a different state of decay, ranging from recently dead to dead for years with neatly kept bones on the wall.
But it was evident that they had all been brutally killed, stripped of their flesh—the fear that laid in their eyes left a sickness inside my stomach and it took everything in me to stay strong and not lose myself. I knew why I was in this room, the man of mystery wanted to break me and I wouldn't let him.
