She was screaming, I could see the fear in her eyes and confusion—but I refused to let her shift alone.
"Sh, it's okay." I said, quickly running to her side—I made sure Mason kept far away.
"Be careful! You don't know how her wolf will react after she fully shifts." Mason warned, I smiled at him.
"She won't hurt a pregnant female." I said trying to convince myself that my sister's wolf cared enough.
"What's happening to me!" She screamed, I stroked her hair as her bones snapped.
"You're shifting Sylvia, do you know about werewolves?" I asked her, her eyes widened.
"Those mythological creatures." She grunted out in pain, slowly hair started to form on her skin.
"Not so mythological, you are a wolf—I am too as well as mom and dad." I told her and I saw the anger in her eyes, but the sadness.
"They lied to me!" She yelled, I sighed at her anger.
"You had no signs of having a wolf, your parents were rogues without a pack—they did what they thought would keep you safe and sane." I told her, she screamed when her spine cracked.
"Sane!? I'm fucking turning into a dog." She yelled at me, I rolled my eyes—that was rude.
"That's offensive." I told her, she snorted and groaned.
"It fucking hurts." She said, I sighed and kept her relaxed.
"Try and relax, I get you are angry but it'll take longer the more you resist—I promise I won't leave your side Sylvia." I told her calming, looking deep into her eyes.
