Argument

-King's POV-

"What is it about Meliodas?" I asked, making her answer "I don't trust him."

"Well, we are two about that." I said and looked at Meliodas and Elizabeth. She was sleeping while he was awake. What I have understood, he will be the one staying up tonight to look after zombies.

"Can't we just get rid off him in some way?" Margaret asked. I just shook my head and said "He always have his guard up and everyone else trust him. Besides he have risked his life to save all of ours plenty of times before. We all have."

"So, it is no way to get away from him? With my sister?" She asked, I shook my head. Then said "I don't think anyone can separate Meliodas from Elizabeth. He will go where she goes and the other way."

She just sighed and walked away while I walked back to Diane. She was already asleep. I laid down beside her and put my arms around her before going to sleep by myself.

-Margaret's POV-

I woke up with Elizabeth shaking me awake. Meliodas, Ban, Diane, Zeldoris and King seemed to be inside the gas station.

One after one come out and gave us all a backpack with three things. 1. Bread, 2. A bottle water and 3. A blanket.

When they have given everyone one backpack with the same things, Meliodas spoke up "Everyone, we are leaving in 10 minutes! If you want to get anything else from the gas station, do it now! Everyone should have a gun and ammo, if you don't have it, get it from the gas station! We are going to walk the whole day except a 1 hour pause at about 3 PM."

It is about 6 am now, so it will be a... 9 hours walk, come on. Wait, I haven't any gun, I don't know how to handle a gun.

"Um, Elizabeth?" I asked and walked over to her. She looked at me, her backpack on her back and ready to go.

"Yes Margaret?" She asked. I didn't see her having any gun either.

"About the gun, is it really that smart if we have one? And where is yours?" I asked. She smiled and said "I don't have any gun. Meliodas won't let me use one because he is scared that I will accidentally hurt myself with it. He protects me instead."

I'm sure it is just so it will be easier to stab her in the back.

"That's not fair, you should also have a gun. Everyone else is able to protect themselves except you then!" I said.

"I trust Meliodas and his decisions Margaret, you need to see the real him instead of his rumours." Elizabeth said and walked away and up to Meliodas. I still don't trust him and she shouldn't either.

"Okay everyone! It's time to go!" Meliodas yelled and everyone nodded. They all took their backpack and other bag if they had any and started walking after Meliodas.

Meliodas held Elizabeth's hand as they walked, Ban and Elaine just walked close to each other, Zeldoris and Gelda held hand, King and Diane also just walked close to each other and I walked near Elizabeth. Gowther walking near Diane.

We walked in hours and after have walked about half the time, Elizabeth started to slow down a bit, making Meliodas look at her.

"Are you okay?" He asked. She just nodded and continued walking, but Meliodas then said "I will carry your bag for you."

"No, I can make it." She said. Meliodas then tried again "It's fine, you are clearly getting tired. I will carry your bag for you."

"Do-" I cut Elizabeth off by saying "Don't you understand?! She said no. NO. Let her be!" I said and took Elizabeth's hand, pulling her away from him.

What I didn't expect was for her to pull it away from my and say "You need to stop it Margaret! He was just trying to be nice!"

"Elizabeth, he will just stab you in the back!" I said. She just looked at me in disbelief and asked "What have happened to you?! You are starting to act like Veronica! What did that kind and caring person go?!"

I was about to answer when she said "Just forget it, leave me alone. If you can't accept Meliodas, then I don't want you to be near me." and walked away.

Everyone had stopped and drank some water while they was waiting for us.

-Elizabeth's POV-

I walked back to Meliodas and as soon as he saw me, he looked a bit worried.

"Elizabeth? Are you okay? What happened?" He asked and put his hands on my forearms to comfort me a bit.

"Just argued with Margaret a bit. I'm sorry if I worried you." I said. He nodded and asked "Are you thirsty? We all decided to have a 5 minutes break to drink some water."

I nodded and he took out his water bottle and gave me it.

"Here." He said, making me say "But it's yours. I can drink from my."

"Just drink, you need it more then I do... and give me your backpack, I am definitely carrying it for you." He said. I just did as told, gave him my backpack and drank a bit of water.

He put back the water and gave me a small smile before looking at everyone else.

"Okay, everyone ready? We take our leave now!" He commanded, making everyone nod. Then we started walking again.
