-Elizabeth's POV-

"Yes. If we get the medication for it, we can finally rest and go back to our normal lives." Meliodas said.

"But how will we do that?" Ban asked.

"We need DNA and then we can drive to my lab. From there, I can take over." Merlin said.

"I gave you a finger." Meliodas said.

"That's not enough. I need at least 2 more." Merlin said.

"From different zombies." She continued. Meliodas nodded.

"Okay." Meliodas said.

"We all woke up pretty early, we should go back to sleep while we can." I said. Everyone nodded. We all leaned against the wall of the car and soon fell asleep.

-Meliodas POV-

Everyone fell asleep except me. I couldn't sleep. The pain in my said hurt too much.

Elizabeth had fallen asleep beside me. Her head tilted a bit before it fell completely on me, leaning on my shoulder.

I looked at her and brushed some hair away from her face.

"Why did you actually save me?" I asked in a whisper.

"Every... one... des... erves... a... se... cond... change." She whispered in her sleep. I never knew I could make her speak in her sleep. I slowly moved away from her and got to Merlin.

"I have some serious questions for you." I whispered. She was quiet.

"What are you really doing here?" I whispered.

"I... have... a mission... to... lock in... a... zombie." She whispered back.

"Why?" I asked in a whisper.

"To... use... as a... guinea... pig." She said. Are she nuts?!

"Who is with you in this?" I asked in a whisper.

"Me a... nd... the... state." She said.

"Why did you pick us up?" I asked.

"Who?" She asked in a whisper.

"Why did you pick Meliodas, Elizabeth, Diane, King, Ban, Gowther and Escanor up?" I asked, still in a whisper.

"They... are... the... bite." She whispered back. She will use us as bite?! Just so that they can use the zombies as guinea pigs?!

I moved back to my seat and let Elizabeth lean on me again. I stared at Merlin the whole time.

A hour later, King woke up.

"M-Meliodas?" He asked. I didn't respond or look at him.

"Why do you look at Merlin so angry?" He asked.

"She and I need to have a serious talk when we stop the car." I answered.

"About what?" He asked.

"What she is doing." I said.

"She is trying to save us all! What's wrong with that?!" He asked a bit louder.

"No, she is not." I said.

"Have you gotten nuts?! Are you stupid?! She is going to make a medicine that will take away this sickness from them! It won't be any more zombies!" King said.

"Believe what you want to believe." I said, looking at him serious in his eyes. He gulped.

"Hey guys, what are you talking about?" A tired voice said.

"G-good m-morning Diane!" King said.

"Morning, so what was you talking about?" She asked. King moved over to Diane and whispered something I couldn't hear.

Diane's eyes was widen and looked at me. Then she nodded.

"Why don't you trust Merlin?" Diane asked and I knew immediately what King said.

"She can't be trusted." I said.

"So we are going to listen to a criminal like you?" King asked.

"Believe what you want to believe, but if it wasn't for me, you all would still be in the house or zombies now." I said.

"True." Diane said.

"But that doesn't change the fact that you can't trust her!" King said.

"I am just don't trust her, I am gonna stop her, even if it takes my life." I said.

"We won't let you!" Diane said. Then the truck stopped, making everyone wake up.

"Morning." Elizabeth said. I stood up and was about to open the car door.

"What are you doing?" Merlin asked.

"Going." I said, not looking at her.

"Why?" Elizabeth asked. I slightly looked at Merlin.

"Because I can't trust her." I said, opened the car door and jumped out. We was at a gas station.

"Wait! Meliodas! Your wound!" Elizabeth said and ran to me.

"I will be fine." I said, looking up at her and our eyes locked for a millisecond. Then I looked away.

"Those who wants to follow me can do it, but I am not waiting for anybody." I said. Ban then stood up.

"Ban?" Diane asked.

"I am going with you, buddy." Ban said.

"What are you doing Ban? He isn't trustworthy! He is a criminal!" King said.

"He might be a criminal, but he just saved us 2 times!" Ban said.

"I am coming with you." Gowther said. He just popped up from nowhere.

"Gowther? You too?" Merlin asked.

"Yes, he is the best chance to survive." Gowther said and walked beside me.

"Anyone else?" I asked. No one spoke.

"Then let's go." I said as we started walking. I had memorized the map and knew where to go. To the biggest lab in the whole country. Then I noticed Elizabeth walking with us. I stopped and looked at her.

"Elizabeth? You are coming with us?" I asked. She nodded.

"Yes, you have that gigantic wound that you can't just be careless with and it is something with Merlin. She just... seem strange. Like she isn't telling the truth." Elizabeth said. I smiled and nodded.

"Then let's continue." I said with a more happy tone.

"Where are we going exactly?" Gowther asked.

"To the biggest lab in the whole country. Bellions!" I said. They all nodded.

"Let's go!" Ban yelled and our journey to make a medicinal to the zombies have just started.
