Survive

The start of the mission

-Elizabeth's POV-

"I'm landing on the roof now." Escanor said. We all nodded.

"Everyone knows the plan. Don't use too many bullets, we will need to use them later and try to not scream, it will make zombies come here." Meliodas spoke. We all nodded again as the helicopter landed on the hospital roof.

We all stood up and I was near Meliodas. Meliodas opened the door and jumped out of the helicopter.

"It seem saf-" Meliodas was cut off when he was tackled to the ground by a zombie.

-Meliodas POV-

I held away the zombies head so it couldn't bite me. This is familiar... THIS IS THE ONE WHO BITE ME! How the hell did it come here?!

Then I looked to the helicopter to see zombies under. More from that house.

"Don't come out! The zombies from that house must have climbed on the helicopter and followed us!" I said and as soon as I did, the zombie over me went crazy. The zombies under the helicopter crawled out of their hide out and went to the helicopter opening.

"Close the door! The zombies is... is coming after you!" I said. Ban and King did as told and closed the door to the helicopter. Then I got an idea. Catching the zombie off guard, I rolled so I was over the zombie. Then I took my hands over the zombies eyes and poked in the eyes in the head. Once I looked, it was just eye holes as the eyes was somewhere in the head.

The zombie tried to fight back by trying to pull me over like I did to it. Then it went to try to scratch me, but I jumped away from it.

"Here I am! Get me!" I yelled to the zombies and they all looked at me, but only the one that bite me come after me.

"Come here! I'm fresh meat!" I yelled and all their attention was taken. They started walking towards me as I ran to the end of the roof.

The one biting me come to me first. I took it's arm and swung him around in circles until the body fell of the arm and fell down all the way to the ground.

"That was for biting me." I mumbled as I threw away the zombie arm down to the ground. Then the other zombies arrived at me. They was all surrounding me.

Maybe I should have thought through this a bit better.

I looked around, no escape. I looked down to the ground. It must be at least 30 meters down.

I took a last look at the helicopter to see Elizabeth in tears as well as Gelda, King, Diane and Elaine. They all looked at me as I just gestured for them to go.

Then I smiled before taking a step back and just fall. I saw the zombies going after, falling right after me.

-Elizabeth's POV-

I broke down in tears as Meliodas jumped off the roof with the zombies following.

"Elizabeth, come on. We... we need to find the medicine." Diane said as she helped me up. The last thing I saw of Meliodas was a sad smile. He didn't deserve to die like that. I really loved him. I'm sure of it now, but it's too late. I will never be able to tell him that now.

With the help of Diane, I stood up and we all went out of the helicopter.

"Don't look. It will only make you feel worse." Diane whispered as I looked at where Meliodas jumped. With a small nod, we continued.

Taking my keyes I had to the hospital, I opened the door and we went down the stairs. We need to be prepared for anything now. Zombies could jump out from every corner.

As soon as we got down from the stairs, King, Ban, and Gowther surrounded me, Diane and Merlin, ready to defend ourselves.

"Which way is it?" King asked as I said "The medicine is two more stairs down and 3 rooms away from those stairs."

"Where is the stairs down then?" Diane asked. I just pointed to the left. No zombies was in sight yet.

We walked down the hall as Merlin asked "Which door?"

"That white big double door." I said and pointed at the door at the end of the corridor. Where it split into two corridors at the end.

We went up there and looked after zombies around the corner.

"Two zombies to the right and three to the left." Ban said. We all looked at the door that was 1 and a half meter in front of us. The zombies can't see us yet. It's too dangerous.

"Give me the key, Elizabeth. I will lock the door up and then we all will go." Gowther said. I nodded, picked the key and said "It's this one."

He took it and went to the door, unlocked it and we all went down. It could be zombies in the staircase, so Ban walked first, then me, Diane, Merlin, King and lastly Gowther.

"Be quiet." Gowther said as we walked down the stairs. We did as told until we heard "Ughhh, ughh."

"Shh." Merlin said as we peeked to see a zombie bumping in the door over and over again. The same door we need to go through.

"What will we do?" I whispered. Then Ban walked up behind the zombie without it seeing. He put his hands around the zombies head and twisted it so much it fell off, then he stomped on the head, making it smash to see the blood and skull.

Gowther gave the keyes to Ban who opened the door.

"It's clear all ways, which way is it?" He asked, making me say "Left, then one right turn and a door in the middle of the hall."

He nodded and we all went left. Ban looked at the right and said "Still no zombies. It was the door in the middle, right?"

"Yes, it have a double door." I said. He nodded and said "I see it. Let's go."

We went to the door, but instead of going in, we heard a "DON'T GO IN THERE!"
