Flee from the roof

-Meliodas POV-

A black haired boy stood with MY meat in his hand and he looked at us. Not scared, but annoyed. I pulled Elizabeth behind me as someone spoke up.

"You was the one taking our food!" Diane exclaimed.

"Wow Diane. You was the first to figure that out." I said, sarcastic. Then I recognized him. It was the one healing my wound when we had contact.

"Give me back my meat!" Elaine bust out. The boy then ran behind the corner of the small tower where the door leading out here was.

"Ban, Elaine, Diane and King, that way. Elizabeth and Gowther, we go that way." I whispered to them as they all nodded. We split up and walked different directions around the small tower to see the black haired boy and a girl there.

We walked a bit closer, cornered them as they saw us. The boy stood in a protective way in front of the girl, a bit like when I stand in front of Elizabeth. The only differences is that he make it so obvious that he is in love, I just make it so it look like I just protect her and nothing more.

"Don't come closer!" He said.

"Don't take my food then you bi-" I cut Elaine off asking "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

The boy looked at the girl before he said "I'm Zeldoris. This is Gelda. We was in the back of your helicopter, hoping to get away from the guinea pig situation."

So I was right.

"I don't understand what's special about you." The boy muttered to himself as he looked at me.

"Special?" King asked. The boy looked at King and then looked at me again.

"Special, meaning one thing, living or not, is different then the orhers or more cared about." The boy said.

"I know what special stands for!" King said. Suddenly a sound was heard.

"Ughhhhhh!" Over and over again. We all looked at that direction and I slowly walked there to the end of the roof to see zombies climbing on one another to get up here. They was just 2 meters away.

"Zombies! They are climbing up the house! We need to get away immediately!" I yelled to the others.

"How?! It's no way out of here!" Diane asked. Making me be quiet a second before asking "Elaine? Do you have enough of the jetpack to get us all to the roof of the next house?"

"I think I have enough for 1 km and the nearest safe house is about 100 meters away. With other words, I have enough for five people." She answered.

I looked at everyone. Elizabeth was going to be one of the five and we was 9 people. In other words, 4 need to stay.

Then I looked back at the zombies. We should have about 10-15 minutes until they come up here.

"So who are going?" I asked. Then they all started to argue. I let them argue, thinking they would decide, but after about 5 minutes, I yelled "Shut up!" and they all went quiet.

"Okay, we have about 5-10 minutes to start heading over there. I don't really care about who is going or not except one person, so we are going to vote." I said.

Everyone nodded and I walked over to all out things, picking the worthless paper and pencil Ban carried here.

"Told ya we would need that." Ban said as I rolled my eyes.

"Everyone have 5 votes and you can only vote for one person with each vote. Not on yourself. Place the votes here on the ground when it is decided. Everyone over five votes goes. We will do one more if everyon get 5." I told them as I handed everyone 5 papers and one pen each.

I wrote down the people I wanted to go and placed them in a small bunch of papers.

"Everyone done?" I asked and everyone nodded.

"Okay. Let me see." I said as I looked on the votes.

"Ban, you have 4 votes.
King, you have 3 votes.
Diane, you have 6 votes.
Elaine have 7 votes.
7 votes to Gelda
The same for you Zeldoris, 7 votes.
Gowther have 4 votes.
I have 7 votes.
Elizabeth, you have 1 vote." I informed.

"So, the ones going is... me, Elaine, Gelda, Zeldoris and you?" Diane asked. Everyone nodded as I shook my head.

"No, I'm not. Elizabeth is going in my place." I said as everyone shouted "What?!"

"But that isn't what we decided!" Elaine said.

"Yeah, we all except someone chose you! You need to go!" Diane yelled.

"I'm not going if not Elizabeth are going!" I said.

"Meliodas, it's your place, you should go." Elizabeth said. I shook my head.

"No." I said and was about to continue when the "Ughhh!" was heard again.

"You need to go." Gowther said as we others nodded. Thinking fast, I grabbed a rope that was about 300 meters long. Why would anyone make so long rope?

I put the ends together and gave it to Elaine who was first to fly. This rope wouldn't hold more then about 2 kg. Should be enough for the jetpack.

"Take this and bind it on the other side. When you have arrived, sent the jetpack back here with the help of the rope." I told her, making her nod.

Then she went off. It took about one minute before the jetpack come back. This time, it was Gelda's turn. It was the same, then it was Zeldoris and Diane.

The jetpack have still not come back yet and the zombies was trying to come up on the roof. Some hand their half body over the roof while some others was trying to stand up to walk to us.

"Send back the jetpack! The zombies is nearly here!" I yelled. A second later, it was sent back and Elizabeth started putting it on.

"Ban, King, Gowther, when I tell, you jump on the rope. Take a strong and tight grip on it." I told them as Ban and Gowther nodded.

"Why would I do as you say?!" King asked.

"You should do as I say if you don't want to die." I said. He rolled his eyes and said "I don't trust you."

"You don't need to, but I suggest you do as I say if you don't want this to be your last sentence." I said. Then I turned to Elizabeth.

"You ready?" I asked, she nodded as I said "Go!"

Then she went flying. The zombies was about to touch me when I yelled "Now!" and we all jumped, gripped the rope.

As I thought, it broke easily and we was all falling. King yelled in fear. Ban yelled in amusement. Gowther was just quiet as I did as Ban.

Suddenly a scream was heard and I looked up to see Elizabeth falling. Fast.
