Caleb's POV

It's been three days now and Melanie hasn't been to school. I was getting worried.

Damn I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something happened to her well because I think might be partly,no scratch that,I'll be fully at fault if something happened to her.

Also as cringy as it sounds,I wanted to act the 'Romeo and Juliet's blah blah blah with her not some replacement.

Daniella,the school's drama president said that if Jiela didn't come to school,Ashley was gonna be my 'Juliet' much to my disappointment.

Ashley was already learning her lines almost too enthusiastically.

I asked Jiela about Melanie and she looked at me with accusing eyes.

I was kinda confused.

"Caleb I need to talk to you now." Daniella said as she walked past me.

Seriously what's with all these girls and their attitude.

I followed her to one of the classrooms.

"So the principal just told me that Melanie was going to be absent till Friday so I think Ashley is already our Juliet now so you have to cope with her"she said while she looked at me dreamily.

"What! No! There's no way I'm acting with that slut. Ew" I made a disgusted face. Sometimes I wondered what I saw in her that made me f*ck her. She was all fake.

I mean her face was always caked with make up that sometimes I thought it could be used to ice a whole cake!

"Oh c'mon Caleb,stop acting like you're any better. I know you've f*cked almost every girl in the school. How about we have a little fun. Who knows? I might change Ashley from being ya Juliet and be your 'Juliet' she said while sucking on her lower lip.

Was that supposed to be a seductive action? Because it was a major turn off for me.

"Oh puh-lease"I rolled my eyes and walked out on her.....yup I just did that.

There was no way I was gonna act 'Romeo' without having Melanie as my 'Juliet'. Yeah,I'm that cocky.....and selfish but I don't care.

I know I've been nothing but a jerk to her but I still wanted her. I needed to call Mike and Zion so that I call of that stupid bet.

Reason? Simple! I love Melanie and I didn't only want to have her in my bed.....I wanted all of her.

"Cal hey body! You've been missing practice this whole week...why... what's up? Mike asked me while wiping off his sweat with his towel.

They had just returned from basketball training.... Did I forget to mention that we were part of the school's basketball team?.....Well I just did so yeah.

"It's nothing Mike.....Just got a lot of things on my mind lately"

"You need to return cos coach is kinda getting mad. You're the captain for crying out loud I know you're now Mr Romeo but whatever....you need to come for practice!"

"Okay okay....Well Mike I wanted to tell-

"Hey Mike can you come over here?I need ya help"Zion screamed from the changing room.

"I'm sorry Cal,let's talk later?"he looked at me apologetically.

"Yeah sure!"I sighed
