Chapter 5

Melanie's POV

Mel,can we start afresh and be friends? I mean real friends.....

His words kept on replaying in mind.

Well I said yes to him because I can't go on hating him.  Life has to go on I guess!

I sighed and face palmed because right now I feel so confused. I mean I've read so many stories and watched movies and I've seen how these players act just to get a girl in their bed. 

'And if you look at it clearly,Caleb is a player and all of a sudden he wants to be my friend?'
It's obvious he's doing it to get me in his pants...
Wait,a sec! He said I ain't his type so I guess not!
But then why?! Why does he wanna be friend??!!!

Gosh!

I know I think too much about little stuff. I know I'm too emotional but that's just how I am.
   Okay so enough of all this emotional stuff.

I got out of my bed and headed down to have dinner with Aunt Sarah. Nick's gone on a business trip for a week so it was just left with Aunt Sarah,Baby Angela and I. I smiled as I remembered baby Angela.

"Aunt Sarah!" I called her from the kitchen.

"Yes, Mel! Please help me to set the table."

"Okay mum!"I said in a singing tone and I heard her laugh.

After setting the table,mum as I called aunt Sarah now joined me and we ate dinner heartily.

After that,I washed the dishes and went to the living room to play with baby Angela. She just brings a smile on my face when I see her.

"Hi babyyy!"I said while making funny faces and she started laughing.

"Miss me? Ya want me to sing a song for you?" I asked her as if she could respond. Silly me!

She laughed and I took that as a yes! I laughed and cleared my throat. ' Ahem'

I was so lost in the song and moving Angela's crib that I didn't realize that she was already asleep. I pecked her cheek and rolled her to mum's room.

Mum was so happy that I finally put Angela to sleep because she always suffered to put her to sleep.

"Thanks sweetie",she said and gave me a motherly hug. I hugged her back and went to my room.

I decided to give Jiela a call.

"Hey girllllllllllll",Jiela's piercing voice pierced my eyes....

"Hi babes! How are you doing? I was just bored so I decided to give ya a call."

"What!!!! So you called not because you missed me?"

I mentally shook my head as I imagined her pouting. Gosh trust Jiela to be dramatic.

"Geez girl,of course I missed you plus you're my clown too sweetie,"I said while smiling.

Jiela and I spoke for about an hour before we finally said goodbye to each other.

I did my homework and went to take a quick shower. Just as I was about to hit my bed,my phone rang.
