Chapter twenty-three...

3rd Person's P.O.V.

"I hope you're ready for what's next. We're going to! Gimme a drum roll please."

"No. Just tell me."

"Fine. We're going to the village hidden in the Sand. Where your boyfriend is." Chino says.

"Gaara isn't my boyfriend."

"Oh yeah? Then how come you already knew who I was talking about? You wouldn't know unless he really is your boyfriend and your just hiding it from everybody! Why would you hide something like that from me? Do you not care for your precious sensei?! Am I not a good Sensei?!" He grabs onto Y/n's arm and starts crying for no reason.

"Stop that. You're a weirdo."

"I'll stop if you call me Sensei!" Y/n shakes her head.

"Damn." She can't choose. She doesn't want to say he's her Sensei because he hasn't really been a good teacher. But she also doesn't want to deal with him on her arm.

"Well? Am I a good Sensei or am I going to stay on your arm for the rest of your life." Chino looks smug. Y/n comes up with a solution. She punches him in the face and knocks him out.

     He falls off of her arm and she didn't have to call him Sensei. She drags him by his foot and and they make their way towards the Village Hidden in the Sand. She holds him with one hand and practices her jutsu with her other hand. She switches hands every few hours.

They arrive at the Sand Village and Chino is still knocked out. She sighs and walks over to Gaara's house. He should be there by now. She knocks and Gaara opens the door.

"Oh, Y/n. I didn't know you were coming."

"I didn't know until a few hours ago."

"Oh. Okay. Do you want to come in?"

"Yes."

"Temari and Kankuro are out getting groceries, so we're going to be alone."

"Not really." Y/n flings Chino into the room, she still has a tight grip on his ankle.

"Oh." He was a little disappointed, but then realized he was knocked out. "Well he's unconscious. So we might as well be alone."

"I guess. Sorry for not getting word out to you that I was coming."

"It's fine." Gaara was feeling awkward.

Yesterday he was having a talk with Temari about how he feels about Y/n. Temari told him that he has a crush on Y/n and that he should tell her his feelings. So it was convenient that Y/n showed up on his doorstep today.

"You look disturbed. Are you okay?" Y/n asks.

"Yeah." Y/n puts their foreheads together. His cheeks turn a faint pink.

"You don't feel like you have a fever. But your face is kind of red. Maybe it's just a cold." Y/n grabs Gaara and sits him down on the couch. She goes over to her bag and gets some stuff. She comes back with a bowl of ramen. "I'm glad I put two I'm the scroll. Now you can have one and Naruto still gets one."

"Oh, thank you." He takes the ramen and begins eating. "Y/n. Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah."

"Do you want to be my girl friend?"

"We already are friends."

"Uh, right." He starts eating quicker and tries not to make eye contact with Y/n.

Y/n shrugs it off and looks at Chino. She kicks him a few times. He doesn't wake up so she smacks him. He wakes up screaming then looks at her. He puts his hand on his face.
