Chapter twenty-eight...

3rd Person's P.O.V.

Chino had found Temari and starts crying tears of joy. Temari was sitting in her spot still in disbelief. He ran over to her and hugged her. She was surprised then looked at him.

"Oh, Temari! You don't know how happy I am to see you!"

"What happened to you?"

"Y/n left me to fend for myself in the forest!" He puts his hand over his forehead and pretends to faint. He stops his act and looks at Temari. "So why are you just sitting there?"

"Well," Temari smirks, "if you must know. Y/n and Gaara went on a date. Gaara confessed his feelings, and Y/n didn't completely reject him. In fact they kissed." Temari was making it sound much nicer than what actually happened.

"And I wasn't here?! Are you kidding me?! Oh I am so taking her back to the village."

"Ah, ah, ah. You know the rules. You can't get in between them."

"Oh, yeah? Well I take that rule back. I'm going to ruin that relationship even if it's the last thing I do." Temari glares at him.

"You wouldn't."

"I will."

Temari takes out her fan. Chino grabs a kunai. They back away from each other then attack. Temari created a burst of wind towards Chino. He dodged and threw his kunai. She blew it away and he got behind her. Chino kicks Temari in the back. As she falls, she turns and claps the fan. It makes him fly backwards.

Chino could easily win this fight, but he thought this was all in good fun, so he didn't use even a quarter of his power. Temari got up and ran at Chino first. Chino jumps into a tree and gets out of Temari's sight. He jumps around for a little while and surprises her. He swings his kunai at Temari and she jumps away quickly.

     Gaara looked at Y/n. She had pulled up her mask when they started walking. He wondered what she was thinking about. Y/n looked upset, her face wasn't showing it, but he could tell. Y/n had already gotten over Gaara crying. She had a feeling that Naruto was upset. Y/n wanted to go back to the village, this feeling was probably Sakura's doing.

     Sakura is always horrible to Naruto. Y/n worries that Sakura had done something to really hurt Naruto. Gaara puts a hand on her shoulder. Even though he wasn't completely over her non existent feelings for him, he wanted to prove he does care and love for her.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

'I have a bad feeling that Naruto is upset.' Y/n signs.

'I don't get why you care for him so much.' Gaara thinks to himself.

'Why?' He decides to keep his feelings to himself.

'I think Sakura hurt his feelings. She often hits him, but that doesn't usually affect him. He just takes it. This is different though. Like she hurt his feelings.'

'Does he like her?'

'Yeah. She probably kissed Sasuke or something. I don't like her, she treats Naruto horribly. I don't see why he likes her.'

'Naruto treats you horribly! He doesn't even notice how much you care for him! I care for you! You're just as clueless as Naruto!' He wanted to tell her.

'From what I saw when I first met her, she's a weirdo.' He says instead.

'Yeah. She is pretty weird. I've got to go train. I'll see you tomorrow.' Gaara nods and they separate.

     Gaara watched Y/n walk away. Temari and Chino had stopped fighting. Temari found Gaara and ran up to him. Chino found Y/n and jumped onto her. Y/n flipped him onto his back, not expecting him.
