Chapter Forty-six...

3rd Person's P.O.V.

     Neji raced to the forest. He kept questioning himself, why was he going to the forest in the first place? Ino was right, Y/n didn't like him, she also healed Chino and Rock Lee. He wasn't special. But then he remembered that she was the only reason he was even able to walk right now. Without her treatment he would probably still be in rehab. Ino was already in front of him.

     Shikamaru was the closest to the forest. Sakura being right behind him and Ino behind her, with of course Neji coming in last. Naruto was thinking about how he could make it up to Y/n. He could get her ramen, but he didn't know what she liked. Did she even like the one they usually got? He worried Y/n wouldn't accept his apology.

     Kane felt them all coming. He smirked, it was on. He could stay back and watch Y/n take them all down, or he could, and Y/n would be more likely to finish her training quicker. He didn't really think much of Naruto. Y/n could take him on herself. He'll take care of the rest of them. He went off out of the forest as Y/n rested from training.

     Y/n heard a few people coming their way, but Kane ran off, so she let it be. He would take care of them. The first one to show up was Shikamaru, then they all stopped in front of Kane.

"Hello children." Kane was completely serious.

"Hello, sir. I just came to check on Y/n." Ino said.

"Okay. And why should I care? Y/n is training hard and doesn't need any of you distracting her."

"Um, sir. I know we don't really know each other. But I'm Sakura and I have been practicing healing. I know that Y/n may not like me, but I still would like to see her. She's been kind of distant."

"I've heard things about you Sakura." Kane states.

"Really? Y/n talks about me?" Sakura looked up at him in joy.

"Don't be too happy. It's not anything good."

"Oh."

"She especially hates how you hit Naruto. Your temper is something else. I would be embarrassed if I were you."

"Yeah, well I'd be embarrassed if I was arguing with a bunch of kids over who gets to date their niece." Sakura retorted.

Kane glared at her. She shut her mouth and looked down at her feet. Y/n heard footsteps coming from a completely different direction from Kane and the others. She looked over. The trees rustled and Y/n got out her kunai. A body fell from the trees. Y/n ran over, recognizing who it was. Naruto popped up.

"Y/n! I'm so glad you're here! I wanted to apologize for what I said! It was totally stupid! I shouldn't have said it! Please forgive me!"

"Okay."

"Really?" Naruto looked up? "Yay!" He jumped up.

"But, we can't just go back to how we were."

"What? Why not?"

"Because Naruto. You obviously don't see when you go past my boundaries."

"What? But I thought you didn't have any boundaries."

"Yes. But that was before. And I have realized that you have boundaries. And I try my best not to exploit them. And yet I had none but somehow you pushed me past a point I never want to go past again. Even if it takes longer than making our own language. I will make sure you know my boundaries."
