" Scared "

The light at the end of the tunnel seemed so close and yet so far from your reach. Extending your hand wasn't even enough to reach the light.

Trying your hardest to drag your body through this darkness that's enveloped within your mind.

A voice then rung in your ear, "don't be scared." It whispered softly. Hearing a voice scared you but you continued through this tunnel.

"i'm not." you said weakly as your hands lied limp on your sides. "don't worry i'll get you out of here." The voice spoke echoing through your head.

You fell to your knees in pain and continued to crawl toward the light that was close but in reality it was so far...

"i don't need help, i can do this alone." You cried slapping your hands against the ground to drag yourself forward. "please stop." The voice said.

Suddenly you felt a warmth on your right hand. Looking over at your hand, you saw a black silhouetted hand on yours. "what are you?" You questioned.

"don't worry, i got you (y/n)." It said holding your hand from behind. "but..." you stuttered as you felt the hand intertwine with yours.

you had no idea who this silhouette could be but there voice was somewhat familiar and nostalgic.

"almost there." it spoke. Even though you could see the silhouette's face. It seemed as though it was smiling at you.

It didn't seem threatening. Almost like a friendly smile that was warming and loving.

"open your eyes (y/n)." It said still holding your hand gingerly. You listening to it's words and you slowly opened your eyes unknowingly.

You woke up to a bright light beaming through your window. Dust particles were visible flying past your face through the rays of the sun shooting through your window.

"What the hell was that?" You groaned moving the hair draping over your face. You quickly stood up and brushed your fingertips over your cheeks. For some reason, they were soaked in tears.

It was so odd since you've hadn't had a nightmare in so long. But this was different because you woke up in a cold sweat with tears soaked on your cheeks.

Suddenly your phone vibrated loudly sitting on your nightstand. You reached for it and quickly answered the call.

"Hello?" You said stretching in your bed. "(y/n) are you okay?" Iwaizumi asked through the phone breathing heavily. "Hm, yeah. Why?" You asked jumping off your bed.

"Sorry I was just worried. It was a dream I had." Iwaizumi chuckled. "A dream, huh?" You sighed. "Yeah it was strange but when I woke up it seemed like I forgot about it." Iwaizumi sighed.

"I woke up in a cold sweat and for some weird reason I was crying?" You said resting your phone between your head and shoulder as you rummages through your closet.

"Same here." Iwaizumi said confused. "That's so weird." You chuckled grabbing the clothes you planned to wear today. "Anyways me and Oikawa are gonna get you right now so be ready!" Iwaizumi said.

You slipped on your socks, "Got it, see'ya Iwa!" You grabbed your phone and ended the call.

Today was going to be an interesting day...

* knock knock *

"Coming!" You yelled standing up off your couch sprinting to the door. You slowly opened it, "Good morning!" Iwaizumi smiled. "Morning!" You stood on your tippy toes and kissed him lightly.
