A few weeks later there was the announcement we'd be going on a school trip.

"A school trip?" You questioned looking at a flyer hung up on the school's daily board. "Where?" Tooru said coming up from behind you. "I think it's Okinawa." Iwaizumi said pointing at the flyer.

"Okinawa sounds fun." You smiled. "Seems interesting." Iwaizumi nodded. "I can't wait." Tooru said yawning.

For the remainder of our classes we spent the time deciding our groups and such. We'd all be staying in the same place but in different rooms.

You weren't that close with any of the girls in your class so you were the last to be chosen into a group. Pairing up with some random girls and they all glared at you as you joined them.

"This is ridiculous." One of the girls muttered. "Yeah." A girl responded crossing her arms.

You felt so distant and you stepped back til your back hit the wall.

The teacher quickly told us about the activities and things will be doing in Okinawa. Apparently the last thing of the night would be the hot springs... and that sounds amazing!

"Alright that is all and please prepare for the trip this weekend." The teacher nodded. "Class dismissed." He sighed and walked out the classroom.

"I'm so excited." A girl said happily. "I'm not." One of girl said glaring at you.

"Oh that girl... isn't she the one who dumped that Ushiwaka guy from Shiratorizawa." "Yeah but apparently she's hanging out with our guys from the volleyball team." "Uh.. what a slut." All of girls said.

Those words were like nothing to you. After so many years of having to deal with that, it no longer left scars on you.

But it helped to cry.

You slowly walked outside and sat on a bench behind the school. Deep in thought you remembered when there was time you were like everyone else. A normal girl...

"Don't let those things get to you (y/n)." A familiar voice rung through my head. It was Ushijima who said that to you....

"Here take my lunch." He smiled handing you his lunch. "Thank you Ushijima." You smiled unwrapping the bento he gave you. "This curry looks amazing!" You grabbed your chopsticks and dug in.

Ushijima was there for you and helped you become yourself. All you left for him was your respect. He worked so hard to get where he is now and you didn't want to get in the way.

But also you did this for yourself.

"Aw man I'm crying." You said as a tear fell down your cheek.

Daydreaming about the past was already painful enough. Relying on the past wasn't going to help you at all. But reflecting about your wrong doings was something you did, it was a habit.

"(y/n)!" Iwaizumi said running to you. "Iwa." You said wiping your tears. "What's wrong?" He asked sitting beside you on the bench.

"It's nothing just tripped." You said nervously. "Tripped?" He questioned looking at your knee. "I cleaned up the wound so I'm fine Iwa." You nodded and stood up showing him you were okay.

You had to remember about the barrier.. the wall you decided to build between you two. It's still not time to tell him about your feelings...
