" Disconnected "

"Iwaizumi." Tooru whispered under his breath. Tooru still had his arms around you as snow flew past you three through the air.

Iwaizumi was in shock and his mouth was slightly ajar. Mist flew out his mouth as he was at a lost for words.

You looked at Iwaizumi with tears streaming down your cheeks.

"Oikawa what are you doing." Iwaizumi said blankly. Tooru was speechless but he was stilling holding you close to him. "Iwa you were gone... how was I able to-" Tooru said resting his head on my shoulder.

"What are you doing you idiot?!" Iwaizumi shouted through the snowy air. Tooru slightly flinched at the sound of his voice and loosened his grip around you.

"No." Tooru sighed. He immediately push you onto his chest tightly. You could hear the sound of his heartbeat ring in your ear.

Tooru gulped, "I'm in love with (y/n)!" He shouted holding you in a warm embrace. Iwaizumi was shocked by the words coming from his mouth.

"Iwa I-" You said before Tooru suddenly lifted your chin up toward him and kissed you. "OIKAWA!" Iwaizumi ran over to you both and Iwaizumi slapped Tooru across the face.

Tooru's face moved to the side and you felt his grip loosen and you quickly came over to Iwaizumi.
"(y/n)." Iwaizumi said as you jumped into his arms. "I'm sorry Iwa." You said gripping onto his winter coat.

You felt your hot warm tears fall down your cheeks as you stared at the snowy floor below you. Iwaizumi had no idea what had happened between you two but he was desperate to know why Tooru would do this...

"Oikawa." Iwaizumi said blankly. Tooru was facing away from the two of you. He sighed and turned to face you both.

"What were you doing with (y/n)." He said seriously. Tooru looked off for a moment, "I did what I've been wanting to do for the longest time. It was just what I said... I'm in love with (y/n)." Tooru said genuinely.

You have Oikawa a side glance as you winced in silent pain. "Now is the time you decide to do this." Iwaizumi said holding you so close.

As Iwaizumi said that, you were confused. Now is the time? You loosened your grip on Iwaizumi's cot and looked up at him, "What does he mean by that Iwaizumi." You blankly said.

Iwaizumi rubbed the back of his head nervously. He grabbed both your hands tightly. "Before you and I were together. I was aware he had feelings for you..." Iwaizumi said staring into your eyes.

"You knew." You said feeling this strange feeling go through your body. "If I didn't step in like I did. He would have won you." Iwaizumi sighed.

Iwaizumi let go of your hands and you turned to Tooru. "Was this true?" You asked Tooru as you approached him.

Tooru nodded. "Even when we were at Okinawa and you pretended to confess me. You were being genuine." You said wiping a tear from your cheek.

"Everything I said at that time was genuine, (y/n)." Tooru said with a soft smile. You had no idea how to perceive this whole ordeal.

If only Iwaizumi hadn't saved you when he did. Things could have turned out so differently and only now is when you see the signs.

There was nothing but shame filling you as you dropped to your knees on the snow. The gifts you bought for them on the floor were covered and buried under the snow.
